Bet the turn is the only option here your overcall pre looks strong no matter how you look at it now u have to test the waters it's tough to get reraised here and be ahead because your range is looks like AA KK AK QQ JJ 10 10 AQ(unlikely) so when u bet the turn AA cant even reraise you and if you are played back at your hand can be placed in the muck care free and happy in the knowlage that you were beat

Think you played fine, don't know riverdave's game at all but me looking at this this does screeeeeeam of an inbetween squeeze of him, but the mere fact that I've never heard of him makes me highly doubt it is thus lets me find the fold pretty damn easily.
