Sucks so much to have JJ in this spot. I would be inclining to fold JJ and go with suited AK combos and QQ+.

EDIT: My guess that ICM will say KK+ tho, because we are effectively playing against a shove and a reshove for our stack.

I think AK and QQ+ as well. I don't really think you can go with anything lighter. JJ is pretty close, but I think that would depend on what your reads are on these players up until this point.

Also not to be sexist or anything but if it changes anything... Everyone is young white male except BB who is 25~ Asian female

Well, maybe buy Asian female a dinner after this mtt if you like her, other than that piece of information changes nothing, your range here should be pretty tight.

I suggest you just plug into a software and see what it says. I am really leaning towards KK+ tho.

If MP is on a tighter side and BB has same perception of him AK seems a fold unless ofc BB could cold call some 99.
I think its more likely she as a casual player has a big hand and want to figure what happens probably planning to herofold KK- if everyone go allin.

Never calling here. Shoving with AK and QQ+ as well. AQ will get dominated a good percentage of time in this spot.

mucking AK, playing QQ KK AA only. never having a calling range here with half the stack bet out, just shoving those 3

KK+ imo.

Shoving ak is terrible, i'd say kk+ too i guess. Stack is worth heaps

Interesting responses so far. Will post results tomorrow, like I mentioned earlier I didn't ask for calling or pushing since calling was obviously out of the question.

^^ I don't understand, calling even can't be that bizarre since it'll go in on basically any flop except maybe some AK2 monotones? I'm basically putting half my stack in.. Dont think anyone is folding ever so calling or shoving are pretty much the same?


Anyways my point was and I wasn't clear is that what is our callinf/shoving range... I'd assumed it was all the same at this point but maybe should have separated it for the nit picky types

KK+ too imo.

QQ and AKs are close though.

JJ and AKo are pretty easy folds i think.
