iPoker 100r turn/river line check...

Had to type up the HH because its from iPoker, if anyone knows how to do it..?

Cant remember playing with villain before but the others 2 are regs. Also had no real reads on him because he was fairly new to the table, and had played solid so far.

I have discussed this hand with a couple of other players and I got different responses, so it would be good to hear some more....

I chose not to raise pre for a number of reasons but that's not important. What would ur turn/river (more importantly river as I think turn is fine) play be and why?

Thanks.

Level is 100/200 pre ante

UTG 76bb
Hero 62bb

MP1 79bb
MP2 49bb
MP3 42bb
CO 53bb
BTN 129bb
SB 46bb
BB 34bb

Pre-Flop ($300, 9 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A K

UTG+1 raises to 400, Hero calls 400, 1 fold, MP2 calls 400, 3 folds, SB calls 300, 1 fold

Flop K T K (1,800, 4 players)

SB checks, UTG bets $900, Hero calls $900, 2 folds

Turn J (3,600, 2 players)

UTG bets 1,800, Hero calls 1,800

River 2 (7,200, 2 players)

UTG checks, Hero ???

I would raise pre sometimes but there's much more merit to flatting in this particular instance imo.

could raise flop but it achieves next to nothing

turn could very well be a spot to raise but there's not much worse we get value from

It achieves getting money in with the best hand against a calling range that involves a good T, good king, and spazzes from straight draws and air.

Raise the flop.

its 4-way with 2 regs who are pretty solid/abc and a solid unknown

u really think we get more value by raising flop than getting him to barrel?

seems optimistic

Re: iPoker 100r turn/river line check...

if we are a random to villain and hes rlly good we can bluffshove to fold out ak or flushes, because he shouldnt have a c/c range here
but for most situations andre boccia nails it

OK, I bet 2200 to try and extract some thin value from AA and maybe QQ, and QK of course

He jams after about 8 seconds thought and I hated life and folded

the reason I posted the hand in this way is because I wanted to hear thoughts on how others would play the turn/river, not on how I played it.

What do u think about my sizing, and bet/folding river?
