is this immoral
So I just played a big mtt and I saw this happen two times that I noticed, once in my favor.
On the river villian makes a bet, and I tank for a minute or two. I eventual call, and the guy flips over the winning hand.
Now when I called, all I said was call and didn't put in the chips. When I lost the dealer just pushed the pot towards the villian and nobody said anything about the chips I should have put in on the river.
Do you tell anyone? I of course didn't...just wanted to see what others thought?

Of course it's immoral. If you think it isn't then you're worshiping a false god, and it's probably money and/or yourself.

Re: is this immoral
I guess the better question is, have any of you seen this happen before? I'm pretty sure someone else at the table noticed because I saw him looking at me after it.

Re: is this immoral
Sounds like a lol bad place to play. It is clearly the dealer's responsibility. I can see a newbie not knowing, but several from the same MTT means it is a house problem like lack of training. Caveat Emptor baby!

Re: is this immoral
Amoral, not immoral. OP, what was your plan in the event you were ousted by the knowing observer?
