Four left in the warm up. Tournament was a bit of a shoot at this stage. Small blind was tight but competent and so is shoving fairly wide here. Obviously noone wants to go to showdown as the payjumps ae quite significant, call or fold?

I think it depends on how bad everyone left is, I could easily see people in this tournament playing scared enough to where your ev of having a r/f stack so you can relentlessly attack is worth more than making a +ev call thats gonna leave you with 10bbs if you lose. Assuming people are decent though and sb is in fact shoving wide (everyone is shoving tighter than you think deep in a tournament like this though) its a shrug-call.

i would prob assess my future edges...if i were against good experienced players id snap call if there were weak spots id fold

According to the ICM calculator, if SB's shoving 45%, you're cutoff calling hands are QJo and QTs. So yeah, you have to call it unless SB's a scared nit or the table's letting you run them over.

ok thanks for the responses, thought it was a really borderline decision, still not 100% sure about my call but at least i won't lose sleep at night :-)
