Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

23 players to go, Villain is Illini, he's been super active, opening about 2-3 hands per orbit the last few orbits. I've been fairly quiet picking my spots carefully.

I've seen him 4bet/c w/ 88 in almost the exact same spot vs another player one orbit ago so I was almost actually expecting the 4bet since I assume he's 4betting here w/ prob his entire range, having seen how active he's been and capable of being light.

I decide to 3 bet to discourage all the squeeze stacks behind from squeezing.

Standard 5 bet shove? Fold pre? Fold to the 4 bet?

Well, i realized i should have made it 3k or something as for them both to have 1 psb each on the flop but i got my mat wrong and i thought 2.7k does that.

Why be small on the flop? Do you think if we bet small we may get peeled by JJ?
I'm not sure i understand your thinking of betting small...

Either 3bet bigger or shove this when he 4 bets you if this was you thinking.

I guess we can fold if both players get it in after us. Shoving won't make any hands beating us fold so might as well give the illusion we might fold and get someone to get it in with a part of their range were ahead of.

I'd check call turn and i'm pretty sure will call river as well. With A, T and Q of spades out there he does not really have many flushes imo.

That's the point of this thread. Fill it with **** until there's a good hand and someone makes a seperate thread.

I'd check and call, then decide river. If he's been so aggro then he 3bets all bigger aces pre, but when we don't fold our hand looks a lot like AT with the Ts so gl on the river.
