Stole the idea from HSPLO. Post spots where you think the hand is fairly simple and doesn't require a lot of thought, but you want some reassurance that you're doing it right.

DO: Include reads and/or HUD stats

DON'T: Include results
as you get better and better, of course it will be harder to get value from the forums - you surpass people if you are working hard...

I too wonder how some of the people that post play high stakes anything
- but we should be glad they do
- and we could just ignore the threads we have contempt for - and you were a beginner once too (ok you may have been 14, but you were)
- and really (taking the 4 betting AK 300bb deep after opening UTG and wondering what to do to the 5) - isnt it useful for you to know that some players consider this a problem?

And Im sure a year ago, if not last week, I've posted **** that makes me look like a noob...

Dunno - this is a community - lets act like it and be nice (sounds so gross) to one another - and yes some people are better than others.... sometimes much...

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

I'd raise call vs. some people fold vs. others. with kqo otb.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

minraising your whole range sounds terrible.

On the direct bubble, when getting all in is a disaster, i think it's optimal.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

Well, the problem is the 80k stack and BB will realize that and ship way wider than they would call, making the minraise with KQ problematic

Not if I am m/r calling the top of my range and tightening my opening range.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

Still just better to be unbalanced, ship in your small-mid pps and KQ type hands and minraise the v top and bottom of you range (imo)

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

If people are reshipping so wide since it's the bubble, why do we even have a "bottom" of our range?

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

They are reshipping because we cant call correctly. Correct adjustment is to r/c hands that we can, openshove hands that we can openshove but cant r/call and r/f hands that arent good enough to openshove but still decent. Of course if you dont care about balance and these two guys shoves so much it isnt + ev to r/f anything, dont have a r/f range.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

i don't think you should have a much of a r/f range if any with this dynamic. you need a pretty specific history with some of the regs behind to be able to r/f profitably with your stack

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

SB is a clown so he can have pretty much anything but he 3 bets his premiums so i think he'll cold 4 bet his QQ and KK. MP has tight-ish reg stats but seems to be 3 bet happy. I have won every pot i have been in since the begging of the tournament.
I know this is less than ideal flop but can i do anything but just pile it here? They have 10 and 11k left respectively.
