Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
I might fold the turn with KQ and I might check the turn with KQ as well, folding the river is insanity with what we know about villain and given that it's 5 handed.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
Tourney is the millball. Villain is a competent reg running like 20/17/7 over a decent sample. We've been in a 3b pot or two but no one has really gotten out of line. I rly ***** hate calling turn/folding river but thought it might have merit with the board texture. So do we wanna fold turn? Ever contemplate a call once weve gotten to the riv?

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
KQ Hand I would check turn to call twice. As played obv call river.
JJ hand I would fold, Can't imagine villain is much wider than TT-AK
KJ hand fold pf. Flop I would bet large or check, as played fold to the flop raise, you are ahead of none of his value range and will have a tough time showing it down.
NSB has an easy fold on the river vs thayer with 9T, we beat nothing.
AJo, you 4bet as a bluff, he raised, barring a sick read fold.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
Eagels: get both hands in.
IMurvariance: hand is probably not a quick checkup hand. I think I'd call but I'm ready to be convinced otherwise.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
Yeah, sorry guess that hand was a little tldr for the thread.
@Pudge My cbets are almost always reallllllly small and i try to keep it balanced vs ppl who i assume are paying attention, its something Ive been experimenting with and it seems to be working out so w/e. I do agree tho i should be cbetting larger here.

It's +EV to get it in vs. TT+ AK. You need a really good read that he will fold TT to an UTG open here, and I don't think we have a reason to believe that.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
he can easily have AQs or 99 and monkeys gonna monkey, stats suggest a monkey so don't fold JJ imo

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
$1650 Borgata
Blinds 200/400 50a
Like 3 or 4 players limp, sb(30k) completes. im in bb with ako i have 14k, the whole table limped every hand so i wasnt concerned about that. At the time i thought i had a bit too much to jam? I made it 3500, thoughts? anyway somehow like no one folds and we go to the flop 5 handed i think
flop k 8 10 r
i see the king in the window and am already set on jamming then this happens
sb takes 2 seconds and jams then gets up and fist pumps like hes already won the hand
i have no idea wtf is going on. there is like 18k in the pot
sb- sb is terrible, hes already donked complete air into several players, hes made retarded calls for heaps, he seemed to make small bets as bluffs and larger ones for value, hes also rarely ever raised and never raised post... hes covered by several players in the hand
i know it sucks to fold here but does he ever have less then two pair here?

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***
Folding sounds pretty bad tbh. The live tell stuff is rly confusing but people gonna be cray. Also fwiw I don't think you're too deep to shove at all pre especially if people are basically never trapping here. (Not saying its optimal but its obv +ev and I don't think you can make thatt much more raising and playing post).
