Hero dealt K8o on button. Raise first in 500 chips

SB and BB call

Flop 678

C/C. I bet 1200 Call call.

Turn 8

C/C I bet 3k

BB check raises 9k. I have 14.5k behind and blinds are turning to 200/400 next round.

BB has gotten out of line and is somewhat aggro.

What's the line ?

Flush considerations? What are their stacks? Did SB fold OTT?

I'd assume if BB had a straight or set, he'd raise flop against 2 players. At least a decent % of his A8 will 3b pre, so I don't see myself folding here.

Rainbow flop. Stacks were 30k (villain) and 19.5k (hero)

He had 9T and I exited the tournament.

Pre is standard.

Flop seems pretty standard. I guess there might be some merit to checking back but think there's more value in denying equity to random overcard combos the blinds might have. Plus our opponents are going to have a lot of 9x in their range that are going to continue.

I think I can make a case for checking turn. When the 8 comes it becomes much less likely our opponents have an 8 as well, and because nobody 3-bet overpairs are much less likely as well. Because of that, I don't think we're getting too many worse hands to call 3 streets, plus checking back means I can comfortably call rivers if my opponents decide to bluff missed draws. We are allowing draws to stick around, but unless a J or 4 hit we're not super upset.

As played, we're going to have boats here, we're going to have T9 here, 54, maybe 95s, but that might not be enough hands we need to continue with. I'm thinking we have to call with at least some of our 8x hands.

K8 is better than, say, 98 or T8 - not just because of the kicker, but because we really don't want to have cards that our opponents might be using as bluffs. I'm a little too stationy in these spots nowadays so I'd probably go with it, but I wouldn't be upset with a fold either.

Flop pretty std check back. It's super bad for your range, and you shouldnt be betting much on this texture

Turn is a fold almost always

Tough spot, I'd rather check back on the turn as I think he's a lot more likely to "get out of line" versus observed weakness than barreling everything. I think turn is a very close fold given everything you've said. I would also prefer checking the flop.
