how about "I have chips, other people do too, the table is fairly weak, and I want to control the raise size PF, as I don't expect anyone to squeeze light, but they may iso big if I limp with hands they would just call my raise with"

Not to mention what actually happened in the hand.

Re: Four quick decisions from yesterday's $2k nl

1) 1200-1300.

2) call in position seems like a sensible plan.

3) call. raising is done as a bluff, but i don't see any sort of better hand folding, and don't see KJ calling.

4) shove and see JT

How can anyone even think about folding on Hand 4?

Re: Four quick decisions from yesterday's $2k nl

1)you arent making money preflop but w/e, bet flop get called by pocket pairs.

2) id call unless i had a reason not to ( had been 3ballin fools light etc)

3) my defaults fold unless reasons not to, maybe a stupid small minraise pre could be hot too

i guess fold > (slightly bigger then ) CIB > call

4) zz shove

Re: Four quick decisions from yesterday's $2k nl

when i raise the KQ on river i expect stuff like TT to call me for sure

if nath is opening stuff like 86s utg then i would expect him to get called by a lot of worse hands too

and i just don't really ever see villain having a better hand so it's close to a freeroll

Re: Four quick decisions from yesterday's $2k nl

knowing all your hands now, i think you played them all fine. the t6 hand i think raising to 16k>shove vs a random old guy with lots of chips. and im pretty sure you should be folding kqo pre to me as i was playing like a bitch up till this point.

oh, and i bubbled

edit: it looked for sure like he had the nuts iin the t6 hand, but any set to him is the nuts and he seemed liek the type (ie old idiot) to be limping kk in that spot.

Re: Four quick decisions from yesterday's $2k nl

hand 1: 1250

hand 2: usually flat but with your style nath and against tim phan i dont think its terrible to makeit 2100ish planning to get it in / play well postflop in position

hand 3: 3750

hand 4: first thought was shove but i might make it 14k straight or something because i feel live players love to call but not as much when its for all their chips. and on this board it looks more bluffy than a shove would imo
