opener is kinda weird reg, has led 7/7 times from the bb when hes defended, he limped button with k7o, not much else.

sb is kinda reggy, played one hand where he raised 77 bvb, bet 996, checked k turn, jammed a river 2x pot vs me and i had the nuts and called.

150/300, opener has 25k, sb 19k, me 18.5

opener makes it 600
sb calls
i call bb with Ah Tc

Flop Jc 9h 8h

checked round quickly, no tanking.

Turn 2h

I bet 1300
call
call

not much tanking

River Qc

I bet 2.6
Opener after 5 seconds makes it 6.5
SB calls after 15 seconds

I jam around 17ish total

Thoughts?

Weird reg leads 7/7 times from the BB, but checks this flop AND raise this river?

He's trapping you and he's probably not folding the hands he's trapping with.

i like a flat better than a raise otr because you have a ten 100% of the time when you lead/3b here and everyone gets to play perfect. at least if you flat there's some chance you chop the third guy's dead sigh-call-off money and some chance he thinks he has a read and spazzes off.

your line looks superstrong and the Ah blocker its super good. i think you can get herofolds on this spot given that it is pretty hard for you to be bluffing. so i like it

if you have your usual live image your not gonna get fold vs a real value raise hand on the riv

I dont expect villains to fold many flushes there getting that price and as played.

Anyway, having the Ah blocker decreases considerably their flush combos that should be something like KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, QT, 67, 56, 45.

For the opener I'd expect a cbet w/ most of this range to combine equity, except for some traps w/ something like QThh, KJhh.. but even those I'd think he is more likely to tank a little bit on some street with considerations for just calling or raising at some point.

The SB line could have any of the flushes until the river, as I dont think he ever just call this bet w/ K high flushes otr. Also I would expect some tank w/ some flushes at any point.

Given that, I think villains ranges are too capped at very few hands, and you are repping a lot of strenght, as this is a nice way to play the nut flush as well. So I think this play is nice as you can fold a lot of chops and sometimes V's can even fold baby flushes to your line.

Hope I have not messed up too much while commenting a hand from a boss like pads... LOL

sorry, i did not realize there were 3 hearts on the board.

i am thrilled to turn this hand into a bluff otr, we are uncapped and blocking, NH

what do you think about turning the Ah over, then looking flustered and turning it back over, going all in, if they call we're out if they fold we'll take the penalty?

I don't hate it when villain doesn't know who you actually are

Like it a lot, but I'm not sure whether a weird reg is going to fold a king or queen high flush

kinda odd shove in that spot...very good fold by a fourth nut flush. I probably call and loose, but I love it when someone with a hand as strong as Ace high straight turns that hand into a bluff. shows me why I'm a nit. have folded the weaker flush many times to that kind of action.

But against the average MTT playerpool folding is good in longrun

I like your play but you have to be sure they can make hero fold. Generally check behind multiway and call one /raise one ranges are super unbalanced and value heavy on these textures.
I like it against good regs as played.
