EPT Deauville 880 Deepstack side event

Hi guys,

I played almost all the EPT events excluded the Highroller and 2k in Deauville. I yesterday started to play an 880 deepstack Event ( 20k startstack and 40 min levels i guess ). I survived day 1 with a short stack while I was hole the day building my stack and than lost AQ vs KQ preflop allin vs an old french guy who was ready to gamble.

I begun day 2 with 33 players left and 16 will make a cash. Payouts were something like :
1st : 34k
2nd : 18k
3rd : 12k
...
16th : 1.1k

I was at the table with a lot of Frech guys where I think I have a quite edge on. Then the bigstack came at my table. I already played him in the main event and in a side event. It's a guy, I think 25 years and was really dominating the table from the beginning. I havn't seen doing him stupid things in the past. I know his openingsrange (even utg) is very wide like any 56s+ 22+ T7o+ versus normal or wide stacks. I've also seen that he is willing to open and fold vs reshoves if he don't get the right odds. He also knows I might have a quite loose reshoverange ( history ).

We are playing with 22 left. Average is about 115k.

Blinds were about 3000 / 6000 / 1000 ante wtf? and we were with 8 at the table.

people fold to bigstack who was on the button. He raises 13k, sb fold and I find A7offsuit. I play 135k. What do we do here? Is this a good spot to reshove or you just fold here? Please also say why and calculations are more than welcome.

PS: there were 4 shortstacks at the tables with < 5bb

What is your bottom reshoverange and which hands will he call here ?? Or do we have other options when 17bb is avg stack

Can't edit OP: stack button is about 350k and is chiplead in the tournament.

I think jamming 32s would show a profit based on what you described. I'm fistpumping any ace.

He put a lot of pressure on the medium and bigstacks. I'm not telling he's opening every orbit the same **** but T7s is definately in his range utg vs mediumstack.

Re: EPT Deauville 880 Deepstack side event

lol with these antes, short stacks and mtt situation he's opening literally any two cards otb and probably calling a pretty narrow range since he probably has a huge edge on every single player and doesn't want to get his stack in pre light.

If I looked down at a hamburger receipt and a car salesman's businesscard, I'd jam pretty quickly.

Re: EPT Deauville 880 Deepstack side event

I jammed it pre and he called with QK offsuit after long thinking. He also said that my reshiprange was very loose versus him, what made sence. I don't know if I would call that, probably I do, but what if I was villain.. What is your calling range vs me than?
