SEREIS MAIN EVENT:
$1,650 Buy in. 20k Start stack. 40 min levels. Day 1 play ends after level 16.

Where were my mistakes? Constructive feedback and comments please.

LEVEL 11: BLINDS 500/1000 ANTE 100

ME, HERO: UTG raised to 2.6k with KcKs. Had about 85k behind and had a top 3 chip stack.

V1: flats and has about 70k
V2: on button flats with about 30k stack.
V3: in the BB calls.

Flop: Qd9d2c

V3 checks, I check (bad check?), v1 bets 6k, v2 flats, v3 tanks and then jams.

After v3 jams, I think a bit and decide that he is on a draw. I go over the top and jam with the two other players behind. Is there any other option?

The players behind me fold. V3 had a random 92 off suit that holds up. Any mistakes made by me? Or just a random bad beat story?

Cannot answer without knowing BB´s stack. Weird you give the others but not his.

Whoops, BB had a little over 50k.

BTN and BB seem terrible.

Bet flop for sure. tons of value missed.

As played it´s close. At a competent table I would fold, but with these players I don´t think I could.

Pretty much agree, but I think against worse players and this action you have even more reason to fold esp in a non-3b pot where ranges are so wide. Yes, there are more draws in their range but there are also more offsuit q9/92/q2. Maybe okay to call when closing action or in 3way pot but in 4way it's a fold imo. However, def bet flop.

If players are this bad I would raise pre flop a bit more, maybe then you get rid of the 9-2 in bb. Not a fan of slow play against bad players/serial callers. Bet the flop!

Yes, because we want 92o to fold when we have KK

The point is you don't want to play KK 4 ways, not that you fold 92o specifically. I think a bigger pfr is good since you are utg. It kind of announces a strong hand, but that may be good based on how many people at your table like to speculate.

As Played I think I would Fold because you don't have many chips invested and you have a top 3 chip stack and it seems you have a large edge against this field. You have to keep in mind that Villain 3 was in the big blind so his range is going to be a lot a weaker and will have a lot of Q9o Q2s two pair type hands. When he shoves after a bet and a call It looks like he has some weird two pair type hand or an Ace High Flush Draw. At best case scenario here he is going to have the draw which is not exactly the best spot to get your money in when you have barely any invested.

If I'm gonna check in this position with this texture and KK I do it with:

1) less people in the pot
2) the Kd

your hand is so vulnerable you need to bet to protect it.

now is just an impossible spot for anyone to know without being there and knowing the people. there's some who just only show up with better and you should fold, then some crazy guys who can just have JT/xxdd/hell even Qx and you should gii.

I agree. Its tough to know whether this is a call or fold without any reads. It does suck especially having 2 players behind you. I mean, you have to think, they can't all be on draws.
