bounty tournament--flopped a royal draw in a 3bet pot bounty tournament--flopped a royal draw in a 3bet pot

This was at Maryland Live! $330 buy-in with $100 bounties. There were 140 entries.

The big blind was 1,000. Still kinda far from the money. I had about 85,000 and villain had maybe half that. He has been a really tight player and not getting out of line. Asian guy in his 50s. Really quiet too.

I was UTG+1 with AQ and I raised to 2700. Villain is two seats after me (full ring) and 3bets to 8200. I don't like it but I call because I have too much hand to fold. I plan to proceed cautiously.

Flop is JJT. I check with the intention of raising all-in, but in retrospect I don't think that's good because I doubt I have any fold equity in a 3bet pot. I figure AK is the only hand he may fold, but he might call with that too. The point becomes moo when villain checks behind. I don't think he has an overpair but it seems like he has a hand with decent showdown value, like 99, AK or 88, and he could also have a monster.

The turn bricks and I check again. He bets 7k and I call.

River bricks and I check. He checks behind and wins with AT. I thought it was interesting that the guy who had barely played any hands 3bet my 2 hole open with ATs, but whatever.

What do you think about how I played this hand? Too cautious?

Thanks.

You don't like the call? Then why do it? Vs the op sizing, 4bai, prob shows greater +ev, but w/e.

You can lead flop small, or check. Would bet ott as played, but w/e hand seems pretty std pof.
