Big 162 Bubble against maniac with suited connectors

101 left and 99 get paid. I arrived at the table a few hands earlier and all I did was 3bet once BB vs SB and folded everything else so I look pretty nitty. Villain always opens to 2.5x and I've seen him open to 2.5x and fold to a 10BB reshove. I considered reshoving there but wasn't sure it was a good idea since a few players were behind me and both SB and villain have me covered.

    Poker Stars, $150 Buy-in (400/800 blinds, 100 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 9 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #13083081

    MP2: 30,892 (38.6 bb)
    MP3: 16,515 (20.6 bb)
    Hero (CO): 18,740 (23.4 bb)
    BTN: 10,899 (13.6 bb)
    SB: 23,001 (28.8 bb)
    BB: 12,476 (15.6 bb)
    UTG+1: 15,143 (18.9 bb)
    UTG+2: 19,842 (24.8 bb)
    MP1: 20,594 (25.7 bb) - VPIP: 50, PFR: 50, 3B: 25, AF: Infinity, Hands: 16

Preflop: Hero is CO with T 8
    2 folds, MP1 raises to 2,000, 6 folds

It this normally a reshove on the bubble given that particular villain and my table image? Can I flat with the shortstacks left to act?

That's what I did but I was wondering if doing something else could have been +EV. I just checked out villain and he seems to be a losing player.

you ain't deep enough to 3b/f and everything else is silly, even being tricky and flatting is bad with the stacks behind

why? your covered here. He may be an aggromoron but you cant do that with stacks left to act and 2 being super short. In the BB I am shoving here yes, not from the CO ever ever ever ever ever.

Agree push, 3-bet/fold and call all don't seem real playable.

However, why are we so worried about short stacks behind you. Are they going to be pushing that loose on the bubble?

"I arrived at the table a few hands earlier..."

Did you ever hear of small sample size? Nobody ever gets 2 or 3 good hands out of 5, right? And I'm sure everyone else at the table has you pegged as nitty after 3 whole folds and a 3 bet.

Your M is 9, why not pick a better spot than 10-8 suited with 3 to act behind you?

its a good move against such a villain theoretically but in terms of practicality its probably best to fold even though villain opens pretty light and isnt concious of the re-shoving stacks behind him . You have decent fold equity but i dont think he folds any pair to your shove and probably calls with AJ/AQ . nice move that I like alot but if you want to win money , fold and wait for a better spot .
