Re: Big 109 ft , preflop or river decision deep vs deep

it's ICM suicide to get in pre unless we have special reads that villian is a spewtard and obv wage is not. Also we need to take into account how soft this FT is. So flat pre is fine.
flop n turn is standard but lead river to achieve both value and blocking? River is a fold against this player for w/e reason it is since u played 800 hands with him already.

agree with chuck here, i think if you lead river he snaps or raises...he may have given you room to bluff river when he holds some kind of Kx hand since he checks turn....i guess it is icm suicide because we're pretty deep, but 4b/shove pre should get him to fold most good hands, including AK

i agree with fold river as played fwiw

Re: Big 109 ft , preflop or river decision deep vs deep

4bet call pre. ICM is there but is not overly dramatic. Both shorties have more than 10bbs.

Think when you c/c this board rather than c/r, it eliminates all broadway and gutshot straight flushdraws from your range, leaving you weighted towards hands like you have, Jx hands and weaker draws.

I think wage is probably good enough to be aware that your c/c range on this board is fairly weak and will realise there isn't much merit to barreling turn when he has Kx as the majority of your c/c range will fold to a second barrel. I think he would double barrel AQ far more often than KQ or AK here.

I would be shocked if river wasn't a straight up value bet with KQ or AK. The board runs out perfect for you to hero Jx (not sure he would expect you to have QQ) or a hand like K10s if you defend it to his 3 bets.

Cliffs: 4bet/call pre
Fold river

i think flat pre, without some history or reads that villain 3bets btn a lot or staksc off v light here , is better than 4bet/call. as played ch/fold if he's not v aggressive otr or lead smallish both are fine. kinda weird sizing otf, my guess would be u have the same hand

4b/c. As played, fold flop. He's betting 2/3 pot on KJxss. Either hes "spazzy" enough to get in 88/99 pre, or hes solid enough to not cbet 2/3 pot on that board without either a hand thats beating you, or one that has a hell of a lot of equity vs you thats just going to make turn and river redic hard to play on most runouts.

Re: Big 109 ft , preflop or river decision deep vs deep

interested what range all of you assign to villain in this spot, so that QQ is that easy 4bet/call ?
dont think standard reg with that kinda stats will commit his entire stack without QQ or AK, of course he will fold pre some % of the time
