More inclined to rip in softer fields and raise/decide in tougher ones. It's a disaster for us if someone behind flats KQo, 9Ts, etc which happens much more often in soft fields.

Anyway, arguments against limping this particular hand make some sense to me. Only problem with jamming is you only get called by better. Nobody will call with a worse Ace and pocket pairs you are either coin flip or dominated.

The nice thing about limping in this spot is most players either want to get their money in preflop or don't. It's actually the passive players that are the most difficult to play against when limping in since there is a tendency to either underplay or overplay the hand postflop. You actually want to be raised a lot preflop since the majority of hands you're limping are strong anyway.

If UTG+1 decides to jam this is an easy fold I think... if they jam with 44 and you fold (as recently happened to me in a similar situation) they are losing money anyway since 44 shouldn't be jamming in UTG+1 so should hopefully stop doing thing sooner or later.

If two other players go all in, isn't this also an easy fold? If min raise/folding is acceptable why not limp/folding? Again, main problem is you'll have to give up this single big blind... but in some cases, this is better than jamming and praying... if you min raise I think the BB can and should be flatting often which is again problematic since you've invested a fair amount of money and want to play the hand.

Although I would never say jamming UTG is wrong and I would do it myself sometimes as well.
Def get calls frm worse.
