Villain mp2 - white male, 50's+ age range. TAG image, plays fairly straightforward. Plays big hands fast, so it's clear when he has a strong holding. Saw him call down a manic, three streets of tiny bets, with bottom pair + missed OESD.

Hero utg - TAG image. has been at the table for 2 1/2 levels. Hasn't been too active, due to being card dead. Hasn't been to show down yet, nor won many hands.

I'm allin probably but what do i know

villain doesn't like to fold maybe and you are laying a pretty big price that he doesn't have AQ/AJ/ATs 44 22 here. I probably give up since I don't think he's got enough pair combos at the river to make this a profitable 3 barrel.

Seems like an easy give up to me if he isn't folding an ace to the third barrel if he's capable of making big calldowns which seems to be the case

Does he float ace high on the flop? If so, give up. If not, it's a lot closer but you need to be pretty sure he folds Ax hands on flop for the most part to shove here even though you're uncapped if he stations an ace I think it's a losing spot to bluffshove

what about villain having 55-QQ, he folds all them otr

bad spot to barrel again i think, i feel like this V floats flop often enough here with some Ax especially bigger (and w/paired board and K river the X is inconsequential) and think he calls off on this river with all his aces

Mostly likely i would give up.You say he is straightforward he was chasing something or prob had some small pair or A something maybe even A4 who knows. he has you stacked and you can afford to give up and still have around 20 bbs.

ehh i give up and mostly because of my flop sizing (not that it's bad it's just he prob peels almost all ax w/ that sizing if he wouldn't normally). I just don't see people fold after they call that turn very often live and that has to be the best river for him to call down w/ ax... (if he thinks u barrel a lot which he prob does especially if ur younger this makes this an even easier give up spot cause every1 slow plays these spots even if they usually don't get tricky)

C/f turn or go for it

Whereas Pete_got_Aces won't hesitate so much Jay_got_JJ certainly have problems.

^^^turn is an easy Barrel. River is a give up for sure, don't think it's close

Fold pre. As played 5700 OTF. Now ship. Not giving up after putting this much in, but that's me.

Going slightly bigger on the flop will probably discourage this type of player from floating ace high. I like the turn bet but definitely c/f now as he has plenty of Ax that are never ever ever folding and there's a decent chance that he folded some of his smaller pocket pairs on the turn.

river decision basically just comes down to turn reads imo. if you were watching him watch the turn card come down i'd be interested to hear what you picked up. did he care what the turn was? did he call quickly? did he deliberate and call? does he care what the river is?

i pile river here pretty often bc i think he shows up with 55-99 more often than people think. fwiw if the board is not paired i think i rip almost always here.

i think the hand is played pretty poorly up to this point though. fold pre, go bigger on flop, as played go bigger on turn
