$350, WPT Cyprus sat, sdv+nfd m-way ott

1 package. 4 ITM. ~20 left.

OR is 18/10/3-AF (700+ hands). V.good reg with 90% roi at $150 abi.
BTN is 30/14/2 - 3bet (95 hands). Pretty bad.
BB is 15/10/3 (700+ hands). TAG reg.

I run 18/13/10/3 -AF.

PartyGaming - $325+$25|50/100 NL - Holdem - 10 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

MP+2: 5,040.00
LP: 5,770.00
CO: 2,609.00
BTN: 4,381.00
Hero (SB): 6,346.00
BB: 6,670.00
UTG: 7,755.00
UTG+1: 9,214.00
MP: 21,006.00
MP+1: 2,355.00

Hero posts SB 50.00, BB posts BB 100.00

Pre Flop: (150.00) Hero has A 8

fold, fold, fold, fold, MP+2 raises to 200.00, fold, fold, BTN calls 200.00, Hero calls 150.00, BB calls 100.00

Flop: (800.00, 4 players) 4 7 8
Hero checks, BB checks, MP+2 checks, BTN checks

Turn: (800.00, 4 players) 9
Hero....

I also don`t like pre, but since OR is pretty tight and my image was active (I already squeezed on several occasions) I thought 3betting won`t be great there. And I haven`t folded bc flat-caller was pretty bad.

What do you like ott? I don`t like c/c much and if I lead turn I`d hate it after being raised (though I don`t expect to get raised often).

You have to bet the turn.Decent hand, you ll get called by worst fd,str8d,+ if you hit the nut flush your hand is a bit disguised.

I would fold preflop. Don't want to play this hand OOP multiway. If you squeeze and get called, you are also OOP with a marginal hand.

Problem with betting turn is what do you do if raised on wet board.

The chance of getting raised ott is close to zero.the only reason going for the ch/c would be the one that drama said.

Being oop, woouldnt you have to bet a river brick if you bet turn? Say river is a Jx, would we bet small repping 10, bet our 8 or c/f?

I too prefer the passive line this time around.

Yes, probably, both c/c and leading are viable options.

C/c has merits bc most players involved are aggressive and it allows to widen their ranges, but after c/c-ing turn it will be difficult to extract value otr.

Leading also has merits bc I don`t expect them to raise my lead often (after that flop "action") and I guess we barely have 20% vs raising range, which makes it an easy lead/f. And it will be easier to extract, hitting flush otr.

Also leading we get value from some weak draws (which we`re way ahead of) & worst FD.

Thus, I like leading more.

I think it`s villain dependent and I`d be more excited to do it vs BTN (both bc he`s a weaker player and bc he`s IRP).
If BB or OR flat-calls ott then J otr hits their ranges very hard IMO.

lets assume the only hand that raises turn is JT which is not necessarily true
discounting a bunch of hands that didn't bet the flop
the probability of 1/3 players having exactly JT is most def not zero

we will be perceived correctly to rep no value hands and reopen the action.

I think I like leading better than c/c given that MP2 and Button will fold a very high percentage of the time and BB's range is weak.
