Re: 2nd chance: KK vs Andy Mcleod

weird I had the same opinion of his play as betgo from playing tournaments with him, but it's been at least two years since that happened. is he really crushing cash now? if so, good for him

anyway yeah call/call seems good to me unless he's changed up his game a ton since then (which he obviously has, so meh)

and yeah I think I like a 'reverse yeti' on the flop, although whenever I try it they snapfold so meh

yo wtf, nothing hits this ****ing flop.
T55 button vs bb, button cbets T55, nothing hits ****ing T55. bb cbet has nothing. tricky aggro player check raises T55 board, that also means nothing. Whys he not checkraising any Tx on this flop? Whys he not check raising randoms on this flop, he got no respect for mement mori.

The reversed Yeti would be pretty sweet imo. Probably gonna 4- bet spazz more often than his likely to 3 bet barrel bluff you.
By couldcalling the turn your hand is pretty face up so he can basically pwn your ass off. I think the key is pretty much if he knows your a good player which are able to fold the top of your range here. I dont think his likely to fire 3 barrels againtst a random villain.

he can shut down and not bet any further streets with his air hands and get max value out of his better hands?

although personally, i dont think flatting puts your hand that face up especially against someone like andy who probably gets more calls from his flop c/r's here than most people itt.

regardless, flatting is fine, and so is 'the reverse yeti' if im understanding it correctly. i think folding is nuts but i dont play against him and i dont know his tendencies that well.

Re: 2nd chance: KK vs Andy Mcleod

i believe yeti is the theory that on boards like this (T55 dry), if BB check raises he has 0. So normally hero just calls down strong hands for value. Reverse Yeti is 3 betting with a very strong hand (like if hero had TT or A5), because BB may come over the top with 0, understanding that hero will lay it down because he now 'must know' that BB has a monster. It's a big game of chicken.

Not quite. Yeti theorem was that 3-bets on dry boards (often paired, or say, A26r) are always air because people would just tarp with their strong hands on such boards because they didn't need to protect their hand from anything. Reverse yeti is a 3-bet on a dry board trying to induce someone to four-bet re-bluff.

I don't like it in this instance and I think our flop 3-bet range should be {} on this texture.
