Why 3-bet against early raise who has big stack?

I lean towards folding, but also mix in some 3bets here. Rep pretty strong and should be able to take it down preflop or with a cbet decent chunk of the time. Can easily fold to a 4bet.

As it happened I think you set up turn jam quite well on this runout.
AJ c/f flop vs your flop sizing often, you block KQ, even KJ may struggle to call off since you generally lack natural (semi)bluffs ott.
You may jam too wide for value which might be bad or not but you lack bluffs.

I think the only issue is I might be wrong but I think your shoving freq generally shouldn't be high on this turn card.

I think its fine until now unless you bet the turn here. I just don't see what hands you will make the villain fold. I see three types of hands the villain can have

1 ) You are way ahead and he has something like JT, AT, JJ, etc. If it goes to showdown you will likely win.

2) He has a Hand like AK, KQ, KT, TT and is not going to fold to your bet. So you might as well take the free card and hope to improve.

3) He is ahead and has a marginal hand. KJ, AQ (unlikely) and will fold to more pressure from you.


I think scenarios 1 and 2 are much more likely. So you might as well take the free card because you have some showdown value or you are beat and he is not going to fold.

Either check back or bet 10-11k and call jam. This sizing puts the same amount of pressure on most hands but will allow you to save chips when they just call with a better hand.
