Live tournament a few hours in. Villain has just moved to the table.
Starting stack 12k blinds are now 300/600

Only 400k chips in the entire tournament, 2 tables left
Villain and hero have around 50k each
About 8 handed, folds around to villain

Villain on the button raises to 1.8k
I decide to wear sunglasses this tournament for +ev in gaining reads.

Hero on SB wakes up with AK unsuited, I wanted to raise to 5.5k but accidentally threw in the wrong chip and ended up calling, although
I just apologize as I only threw in around 1.2k not enough to call. I don't think anyone noticed

Flop comes out KQ6 no flushdraws.
Hero checks and V bets very small, can't pick up on anything

Hero ??

I decide to just call

turn is a off suit 3, shouldn't change much, V raises and my read on him is he's very strong. I just call

River is a 10, I check again and hero bets large I think about 15k-25k IIRC

Hero??

My read on him is super strong but I decide to quickly call thinking AK is just too strong, but if Villian has not gotten out of line ever, except with preflop raise steals. is this a bad call? V has QQ(not sure how to hide it)

I was pretty happy that I didn't go bust and was just thinking it's not a very good spot to get busted, with top pair top kicker both being chip leaders

You played it fine given the misclick preflop. C/c 3 streets with AK on this board is standard with the pf action.

I don't know what you're getting at when you say "V raises and my read on him is he's very strong", he's a fish playing a $200 live tournament, don't read too much into any of his actions.

seems like a trivial fold on this river vs that sizing imo

River is a fold. 10 is not a good card, and people will very rarely triple barrel with worse than two pair here

It's even in the title that he misclicked, come on...

Villain didn't "raise" on the turn unless you bet into him. You can fold turn if you have a really strong read, otherwise the place to fold is the river.

I think calling 2 streets is standard. River is a decision, but I would lean towards call because I'm a call station. I agree that people rarely fire 3 barrels with less than 2 pair. The thing is that your hand is under rep'd. But without much history he isn't going to be betting every street for value with worse than what you have.

I probably play all streets differently...

Pre-flop I get the chip mistake.

On the flop I would c/r. I don't like giving a "free" card to a possible gutter.

Given your read on the turn I would base my action on the bet size. Assuming you didn't lead out (I would fold in that case). I have no problem folding to a large bet if I sense strength.

River is a clear fold to me given your turn read.

I play a lot of live tourneys in the $200 range and am surprised to see this in the high stakes MTT forum. My experience is that people give away a lot of information on both tells and betting patterns at this level. There are not a lot of players that will 3 barrel bluff in these types of tournaments and those that do are usually young guys playing because the internet is broken. Two barrel bluffs are not even common...

I would have fold river, especially not been able to 3bet preflop. His range could be wide like 33% or higher so I would expect for him to have 2 pair a lot here which I can't beat. So this is a ez fold do to lack of information for not being able to 3bet preflop.
