Re: 100r FT tough spot vs reg

w/e 3bet don't fold, unless he's opening very tight from the sb. If you flat you are going to end up playing quite a few big pots with one pair of 8s, where any competent opponent will put you in a lot of miserable spots, by 3betting you fold out a ton of hands with equity, induce 4bet bluffs and don't end up incorrectly folding the best hand. This is a very good 3bet bluff spot for hero, 88 is fin to have in our value range even though its near the bottom.

Re: 100r FT tough spot vs reg

Surely trying to get 88 in pre here is terrible considering the players and stacks left when we could just flat and play the pot in position instead. Otr i didn't think rlog was ever jamming over my bet. My range is uncapped (ok i cant have top set but thats it) and ive made a pretty big value bet. So thinking about hands rlog can jam over this bet for value i only think he can jam flushes. I think rlog would bet the turn most of the time with a flush draw rather than c.calling. The only flush draws i think he might sometimes check/call are AcXc and 9cXc to try pick off some floats or w/e but the majority of the time he would just bet these i think. Obv its very unlikely that rlog would decide to bluff over this river sizing so it makes it pretty tough. I think if he has the bare ace of clubs he'll sometimes decide 1 pair is no good and pile over my river bet knowing how strong it looks. With so few value combinations + it being bvb i think its a call.

I hate flop slowplay, why did you do that ? Is villain crazy enough for second barelling with nothing OOP ?

Im folding river. It strong seems like villain has Acxc. I don't belive villain is turning T9 into bluff cos flushes are almost only value betting range here.
