yes they have utterly no idea how gaming works, the morons think that the decline is due to foreign competition and can't understand that they are raking poker to death.

I agree, they do have a clue.

But the gov needs every cent, so the players are knowingly led to the slaughter.
However, the only way to protest is to stop playing, so the gov gets no tax at all.

Re: ARJEL : La contre-attaque

I know a lot of people who have already quit playing online or, like me, seriously reduced their online play.

I would be curious to know how the .fr rooms are really faring from a financial point of view.

There will always be players because

- some players think the softer field makes up for the rake and the lack of traffic
- some players are just addicted to poker (like me somewhat)

I doubt protesting will have any effect since France is on the verge of bankrupcy and the government has more stinky fish to fry right now than worry about poker players.

Re: ARJEL : La contre-attaque

Hi,
The field is easy but reduced. It's hard to find tables of NL50 without 1 or 2 strong regs.
I have won this year something like 3000 euros mostly in NL50 so I can beat the rake with around 5bb/100h and had somewhat good shots in NL100.

But there are almost no fishy table in NL200 SH, so I take my time before going up in NL100. In the future, I think that I should open an offshore bank account with a VPN if I want to play NL400.
