Squeeze on MTTs Squeeze on MTTs

Hey, i've gone busto on a lot of tourneys on the last months, and one of the biggest problems were against squeezes,

i was holding a reaosnable PP like 77-TT, someone would squeeze me and then i shove, as i like to do on cash games because squeeze lights are very common there because it's a hugely profitable play.

i'm not a very experienced MTT player, so i'm making this question:

is squeeze light common on MTTs?

I'm maybe stating the obvious here, but I'm gonna tell you something that might help your doubt. In cash games I guess you must make every EV+ move, but in MTT's, especially at the lower buy-ins where there are alot of bad players ( although there are fishes in every level ) you are going to encounter so many good spots that unless if it's a tourney FULL of pro's, you have to just wait for those spots in wich your edge is large enough to risk your tourney life. So answering your original question, yes squeezes are common in MTT, but sometimes to avoid that ''guess for your tourney life'' you just have to suck it up and fold or call I guess, unless you have a short stack or a really solid read. I struggle with this, I think it is the ultimate MTT discipline skill.
