Went to my first Perkins and instantly thought "I should order the YTF meal".

Then I realized it was two meals and YTF palate choices (Steak medallions and Jumbo shrimp), so I just got the Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit Breakfast with an apple pie (free on mondays, they don't normally add cheese on top, tho I asked).

RIP

How was it? And where were you that you both found a Perkins, and then walked into one?

Wow, that's incredibly sad. Even with all the ridicule he endured ITT, he always stayed upbeat and maintained a sense of humor and tried to learn, he seemed like that classic "guy you'd enjoy having a beer with".

Obviously I know nothing about the cause of his death but I hope that the weight he lost improved the quality of these last several years of his life.

Damn, what terrible news to hear

He joked this was the thread that put H&F on the map before it even began, but it really did end up being one of the top threads. I always had hope when I saw it bumped he had decided to get back on the lifting & weight loss train. He shared so much of his life with this thread it feels like he's been a friend for many years.

RIP.
