Yeah, I know that about Thremp. I thought Soulman was talking about everyone. If he was just talking about Thremp (plus maybe a couple others), I agree with him that he's a realist.

I just have to say this is great! I did not think you could exercise so much yet this is twice and it seems easy for you. You must feel pretty good after doing this. Could you do this at your max weight?
See I think you ate more food than you needed because it made you happy. So you lowered the amount of food so that equals less happy for you. But exercise is like the best plus happy thing you can do imo. So I want to know how it made you feel. I hope happy!

Re: The Log That Put H&F on the Map: YouTalkFunny's Weightloss Log
I know the "happy" feeling brought by exercise that you describe; however, I'm not there yet. My knees hurt a little, but it's funny, I'm not sure if it's my knees, or a very high shin thing. When my shins were bothering me a few weeks ago, WebMD said it could be caused by walking flat-footed, instead of rolling each step onto your heel first. When I focus on that, it gets better, and I don't think my knees would stop hurting with such a simple adjustment if they were the problem.
I am happy, though, that I can do it! I tried walking at 380 this past spring, I was dying 15 minutes in, and I was sore for a week from head to toe.
I'm eating dinner as I type this, and I'd love to go out for a stroll after dinner, but it's 3 AM, and I don't have any reflective gear to wear. I need to start waking up earlier and walking before work.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 8, 2012

TOTAL: 2100 on the nose.

I'm in Minnesota. Summer is almost over already, I'm quite confident that I'll be better served by walking in the daytime in the coming months.

I just realized that this is a compliment. Reading about smooth sailing is far more boring than a thread packed with ups and downs. Let's hope it stays boring around here.

Even so, you could try parking at the far end of the parking lot, which I know is a long, long way from the door. Seems like that could get you several miles a week.

yup. small things like this add up over time, and are easier to implement than setting aside time for exercising (which you should do too, but it's not a perfect world).

Bleech, who wants to walk in a parking lot? BORING! Get a membership at Bally's - they got TVs on all the treadmills.

YTF, do you drive a lot? Are there times that you drive when you could easily walk? I live in Manitoba, Canada, and we have ridiculously cold winters, but I still try to walk as much as possible in the winter, IFF to save wasting money on taxis.
