Re: The Log That Put H&F on the Map: YouTalkFunny's Weightloss Log
You cut that mayo in half and voila! The crap in your diet goes down by a good 50%.

But I thought any mayo = 100% crap though.
So not sure about that math Wallypop, .

I clearly have a radical view on diet plans, though.

Gents,
He is using Miracle Whip, not mayo. Please adjust crap graph trajectory accordingly.

Miracle Whip is just Satan's mayo, imo.

Wally,
If it were Satan's mayo it would be tastier than mayo.

This may sound unappealing at first, but Greek Yogurt is a GREAT substitute for mayo or sour cream. It tastes exactly like sour cream, and only has 2% M.F. You should try it on a fajita, or as a creamy salad base.

Disappointed the mayo hate outweighed the weigh-in love.

Well you kinda ruined that with your cheating weigh-in Also mayo in H&F has taken a whole life of its own.

They're not horrible, but the leet fast food option will always be a heavily modified burger. Admittedly better with an IF approach to dieting (which in itself is superior for many, but I digress), but still very good. Whole grain bun for more fiber if needed, 2-3 patties, ditch the mayo and use BBQ/salsa instead, less cheese. Ditching one of the buns is also an option. Way, way more protein, which is good also for people who don't lift (due to higher termal effect, 20-30% vs 2-5% for fat and carbs).
The simple rule would always be to maximize protein, minimize fat and carbs when eating fast food. The size of the meal depends on how it would fit into your daily caloric allotment.

This has been a pretty inspiring read so far. Might use this to be some actual motivation that I've needed. Glllll to an epic poster.

Re: The Log That Put H&F on the Map: YouTalkFunny's Weightloss Log
What a nice thing to say, thank you for that.
FRIDAY, JULY 6, 2012
BREAKFAST: Usual, omelet and bacon, 612 cals, don't even need to look it up any more.
LUNCH: Foot-long Subway Club on white, veggies and honey-mustard, no cheese (660 cals, per Subway website). Bag of Baked Lays only has 130 cals, that's 790 cals, all tolled.
DINNER: About 14 oz of sockeye salmon (tastes a little "fishier" than regular salmon), and 4.5 oz of steamed broccoli. And it was plenty, no dessert tonight. Oh yeah, forgot the premeal small salad with ranch, no wonder I'm full. 830 cals.
TOTAL: 2232, still killing it. And best of all, the heat wave broke, normal temps for the next few days.

I envy a man who can stomach a Subway sandwich without cheese. I tried it before; never again.
