Avocado is delicious. That's all I really have to say about that.

In terms of the 1800 calories/day you've been eating, is it fairly similar day-to-day or is it completely random and all over the place? I guess what I'm wondering if it's easy to just tweak and substitute a few common meals you normally have, or if it's a different issue (like eating well at home and then eating tons of calories out).

1800 too much for a 150lb female trying to lose weight

drop it down to 800-1000 and you'll get the results you're looking for, if not, stay big I guess.

Pretty similar, same breakfast every day (English muffin with Pb and butter) try to have a salad a day (with no dressing) and the rest is pretty up in the air based on cravings.
I've been pretty hungry and noshing a lot, I should reign in on that and I'll keep a closer eye on it.

Spenda: I'll give it a try!

what's the calories and macro breakdown of that breakfast? I'm guessing you can get a lot more volume in for fewer calories and with better macros.

seeing as how the butter is apparently nothing but fat, obviously I should be picking something else.

Last edited by Gizmo; 06-21-2012 at 06:10 PM. Reason: the butter is supposed to be this vegan stuff LK gets, idk, tastes fine and I just eat it.

9.5g (38cals) protein in 330 calories is very meh

Things like peanut butter (nuts in general) and butter are best served when trying to gain weight, or maintaining for the lucky high-metabolism folks. They really should have zero place in your diet when you are trying to lose weight. Their volume:calorie ratio is way too low.

and eating just bread isn't okay either. Eggs? Bacon? Sausage? Cereal?
Seriously, I'm trying to eat something that will keep me full for an amount of time and is quick to make, that's why I've been doing the PB. Not that I'm adverse to changing it, just wondering where I should go.
Bag of broccoli?

I'm not sure your diet restrictions, from skimming you follow some sort of vegan-type diet. What about dairy or eggs?

I just don't get how that meal is designed to keep you full until lunch. It's an incredibly small amount of food.

It would take ~5min to make a kickass egg mcmuffin that's probably same calories but about 20g protein and I'd imagine more filling.

I'm make two open face egg sandwiches with some cheese and either sausage or bacon
