Get the BW work book I recommended to you a while back already? Linked in the FAQ somewhere.

Re: You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it: Gizmo's log
DEAR GOD am I suffering. Rash has spread to the abdomen. Tomorrow I'm calling my doctor and demanding oral steroids. Found a **** ton of Poison Ivy in the yard GG arms, back, stomach, tits! GG!!!!!
Anyway, I walked about 3.5 miles today. I did 20 minutes of interval skipping. And I did a 4 of 5 exercises in 50/10 intervals using a 25# KB and 8 # DB
Swings: 33, 30, 26, 30 (8 # DB)
Deads: 17, 15, 15, 20
Push ups: 23, 20, 15, 17
Squats: 20, 15, 17 (8#), 17 (8#)
Planks: static holds
My net calories for the day are somewhere supposedly around 1400 (little under)
I weighed myself this morning, and scale said 151 which is skewed (I think) from my 3 day binge over the weekend as well as, uh... other things cause that's a 4 pound gain from last thursday which is ridiculous.

Guh, that sounds pretty terrible. The good news is that it's curable (and will go away).
I hope that teaches you to be productive and do yard work. That **** is rigged imo (I don't like yard work, although don't mind mowing grass I guess).

FWIW the exercises i suggest will in addition to help you lose weight and get stronger also make you healthier. for instance while it is easy to jog with bad form and make your injured it is pretty hard to run up a hill the wrong way. i guess you can do some of them the wrong way but in general i'd say these are more self-limiting then something like loaded squats in the gym

Work out done!
50/10 x 20
Kb deads: 18,12,14,12,12,12
KB Swings: 25,20,20,20,15
KB Squats: 19,15,14,12,18
walking lunges: 20,16,16,14,15
20/10x20
Push ups: 11,8,8,9
Dips: 14,9,10,12
right/left/middle planks
then 20 minutes of jump roping.
We got a Boston Cream Pie yesterday, so I'm trying to be as good as possible.
Weight still around 150, but I'm on steroids for the Ivy rash so, I'm not worrying about it.
Went and worked out with my friend (who bought me a few pilates classes) and did some step aerobics thing. wore shorts and loves the way my legs looked. I'm happy about that.

Re: You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it: Gizmo's log
It seems like you are eating too much. It's been two weeks and you've been quite active with marginal to no weight loss. It's somewhat likely that you've recomped a little, but given the rep ranges you've been working within and your gender, that couldn't have happened much. Sad truth is that 90% of body recomposition is diet, especially for women. Sorry to be the Negative Nathan of the thread, I'm not trying to troll or discourage you.

Re: You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it: Gizmo's log
You're not discouraging me.
Today I did the stairs in the neighborhood park. The total climb elevation (according to my fitbit) was 1000 feet (or 100 sets of stairs) which is fun.
I have been tracking my diet and calories and most days I don't go over. I did have a spot about a week and a half ago where anything resembling bread was in risk of being totally destroyed. But since then my "net" calories are usually around 1400 or under that.
I've recently gotten off birth control, though, and I know for a fact my hormone levels aren't where they should be (I haven't ovulated) and I am currently on steroids so I'm not actually worried too much about the weight changing. It will come eventually so long as I keep eating relatively well and moving more. And if not, well... my cholesterol is already down according to my latest blood levels (from 230 to 180) which seems like a good indicator that I'm moving towards being "healthier".

Yeah women have less reliable weight measurement (more fluctuation) in general so I'm with you there. It still seems like your calorie budget is set a tad too high. It is hardddd for women to lose weight without a ton of calorie restriction, this is why like every woman in the developed world struggles with this.

Re: You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it: Gizmo's log
I'd agree that something doesn't seem right. 1400 calories and working out at 150 lbs and not moving down pretty considerably seems odd. I would expect a 5-8 lb weight loss very quickly (the beginning is the easiest).
Is it possible you aren't accounting for something, Giz? Something seems really wrong here.
Maybe possible drinks you aren't counting or something.

Re: You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it: Gizmo's log
I'm eating about 1800 calories total on average, with the exercise and activity (walking 10k steps everyday, strength stuff, jumping rope) it usually equals to a net of 1400-1500. I'm pretty diligent when it comes to tracking things, I track condiments and all of that too. I've had a lot of avocado lately, and maybe I've been underestimating the portion size for that? I dunno.
I'm really not too worried about the lack of weight loss, though. Which seems weird, but I feel better and I've had more energy. With my thyroid issues and the hormone and all that stuff, maybe it will just take time to level out. Part of the log is so that I don't give up, I guess.
I'll keep very good track of food the next week and post everything, though. Suggestions and tips will be welcome!
