Yellow spot on my chest - WTF?
 

So on Saturday I look in the mirror and there's a yellowish spot on the upper part of my chest near my shoulder. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened to my body recently. I did develop a head cold a few days ago, but I doubt it is related. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Should I be concerned?

That was my first thought, but nothing has recently happened to my chest that could have caused a bruise. I must be dying.

bruises aren't always caused by impact. maybe your pillow got twisted and you slept on it in that spot.

do you front squat or clean? sometimes i get small bruises on my collar bone and upper chest when i do these moves...

are you on chemo? on breaking bad this week the main character had to let his cancer cat out of the bag cause someone saw a yellow spot on his chest and knew it meant he was on the chemo.

omigosh, dude. i googled "yellow spots on my chest", because i have one on my breast, and i wanted to make sure it wasnt cancerous or anything. i was getting worried. but when i came across your post, i found that i have EXACTLY the same thing as you! its a little smaller, but its the same color and in the area. And im just recovring from what seemed like a head cold as well. i dont know what its from, but im happy to find im not alone. =] im still a little confused as to where it came from, but im definatly going to check with my docter on this. you should too.

i have the same exact spot in almost the same place. i've been looking things up on yellow spots on skin, and i keep getting things about liver spots and jaundice. the whole jaundice thing has to do with liver cancer. so i was like idk about that... but then i was researching still and found out that unsanitary piercings can cause hepatitis C. and thats related with liver cancer. i may be scaring myself with the whole thing. but i'm definitely going to the doctor on tuesday because i have 2 piercings and 2 tattoos. if you have any, i would consider seeing a doctor too. let me know how everything goes.

Lol it always makes me chuckle when I see a new post in this thread.

The spot faded and disappeared within a week or two if i recall correctly. Nothing to worry about!
