2 down, 88 to go.

It's on like Donkey Kong.

Oh, btw, if there's a thread that houses all p90x blogs, feel free to move this there.

Working out 6 days a week, for an hour, and staying on a strict diet will certainly work in reaching your goals. However, there are more efficient, and more effective ways to reach your goals.

As I mentioned in my first blog post, my brother had good success with P90x, plus I already bought and paid for the program

in b4 you dread doing yoga X for 1 1/2 hrs

I did p90x, and completed it, and then did it again for like 40 days. If you follow a good diet and do it, you'll lose a lot of weight.

See ya in 3 months when you become intrigued about getting some muscles on ya.

You're the third person to tell me how bad the yoga sucks. I was actually looking forward to the yoga, but apparently it's not going to be as enjoyable as I wanted. As I said in my first post, my goal isn't to bulk up, it's to get lean and ripped, which was what I thought P90x advertised. And, since I'm 6'1'' and 197 pounds, I don't really have much weight to lose and think I can get good results if I stick with it. We'll see ...

I remember my first yoga day lol. After the second "warm up" sun salutation whatever I was laying on the floor. **** is damn tough. Its really ONLY the first 50 mins that suck balls..I'll spare you the spoilers but the ending is pretty rewarding mentally, cause the first part sucks balls! haha

Are you doing plyoX tomorrow?

Just do your best, and forget the rest!

If you are willing/able to stick a strict diet, you should be doing a lot heavy lifts(squats, deadlifts, press, pull up). You will get the ripped look with some real muscle base to show off.

As I mentioned in the first blog post, I am following most of the diet: all dinners plus before and after lunch snacks as outlined in the P90x meal plan. However, for simplicity sake (aka I don't have enough time to cook all these meals), I'm having oatmeal for breakfast and a veggie burger for lunch just about every day. Also, I'm going to allow myself one cheat meal and dessert per week of REASONABLE portions - no buffets or anything crazy like that.
