Possibly the most talented S&Fer of all time. Here is a man that looked at a bar and would grow stronger. Guy was taken from us by injury and pussy. Last known gyming was as a cardio bunny to please his girl.

Hey guys! Life is superb. Engaged and getting married in a year!

I wish the tale of my H&F was just as superb, but unfortunately it is not haha. I've never really been able to get my strength back 100% after the hip surgery. Getting close to 3 plate squat kind of aggravates it, especially if I do it for multiple sessions.

Been just slacking around with like 250/250/300 s/b/d not really motivated by lack of sport (since I'm obv not competing in PL). Maintaining and enjoying life. Trained and ran a half marathon at one point, but that sucked and don't want that to be more than occasional way to burn cals with the fiance.

Having a bit of a resurgence in H&F interest though in general. I joined a BJJ gym cuz that seems fun and some free cardio. It has also propelled my general fitness motivation, and I'm really looking forward to building my strength back up to complement it - probably focusing hard on bench/DL.

Eh, 375 (not 380 IIRC ) was a very peaked 1RM, probably had a high normal 1RM of closer to 340-350, the benching I've been doing recently is anywhere from 225x10-12 to 275x3 or something... so probably not super different. Definitely weaker, but not embarrassingly so, upper body at least.

Just how important is it to your new life that you get that 350 back though. That's a tad more important, IMHO

Congrats on the engagement, SAW!

I kind of forgot what a beast peak SAW was. Sounds like he was right around peak Aidan, and Aidan has been killing it for years.

Thanks Melk! Sounds like Aidan is the far more admirable one then IYAM...

Nuclear I'm not sure I understand your post, but it's not very important. I just like fitness but usually need to be motivated by a sport or something. When PL got taken off the table it really hurt my motivation. That's why I dabbled in strongman for a bit, but too similar if not way harder.

I don't follow Myl drama at all cause I don't really care, but a quick perusal of the last page of that thread leads me to believe her main problem is she has given code too much power over her and he isn't emotionally equipped to handle it. Sort of like when you don't train your dog properly and they misbehave cause they can't handle being the alpha.

I am guessing that main cause of this power imbalance is she is batting out of her league. If she dropped down a couple leagues where she had a more of the power everyone would probably be much better off for it.

Eh, she belongs in that thread, I can't imagine she'll be banned for that.

Besides, we know she doesn't listen or take advice from anyone. I've never seen anyone in my life touch a hot stove that much.

Or, it's all an elaborate troll and she's dropping weight at record pace for that undertitle win.

Watching some lakes summer league. I hav never seen anyone pass like Lonzo. Is insane. Even better than he was in college cause there is so much more space.

Syndrom; Turmeric Mango smoothie is turning into a real winner. Use roots instead of powder. Add some yoghurt, strawberries, ginger, and kale (obv. protein powder, too).

After further assessment, that could potentially not be ****ty with a couple changes (lol protein powder and kale).

Like mango strawberry yogurt solid combo. Ginger/tumeric solid as well. I could see yogurt mango working in great with that. (Since lol Indian food.) Think I just had a standard kneejerk reaction to Holliday posting, I guess I should be grateful its only kinda ****ed up instead of just wholesale horrid.

Well "winner" generally means I've been able to get someone else to eat and like it. I got plenty of green smoothies other people won't drink after smelling, but I don't find them bad at all.

Wife will not knowingly consume a smoothie that has greens in it, but the strong flavors and color allow the kale to be smuggled in quite nicely. It's a handy change of pace from the usual pomegranate bomb.
