Aspies on the Internet? I think you'll know where Monte is...

Suspension of disbelief needs to be high for GoT. But it's a decent ride at the moment.

Yes, I realise I said that about a show with dragons in it
07-31-2017 , 05:14 AM
Hey! The dragons are the believable bit. Next thing you'll be telling me there is no Santa

Agreed. There are some silly bits, but stuff like (spoiler from end of season 6)

Spoiler:
Cersei blowing up the sept of Balor and killing that most annoying of all characters - the Sparrow
makes it worth it

Keep in mind for example, while ATs can open shove profitably and unexploitably for 20bb from the sb, it's EVs are higher both limping and raising.

At 10bb for example, the approximate GTO strategy is around 63% limp, 24% open shove, and 13% fold.

Hey folks,

So I won my undertitle bet with MLY. What should her new undertitle be? Obviously I'm the penultimate arbitrator who then passes onto AIDSan/MonteCOCO to enact my wishes.
08-01-2017 , 08:49 AM
Congratulations on your win.
08-01-2017 , 08:57 AM
Congrats. Especially considering your low starting weight was a handicap in this bet.

Hey bros, it's brogust.

Thremp,

prob best to just wait for DT to post since he'll blow everyone else out of the water anyway.
08-01-2017 , 11:03 AM
Congrats, Thremp on counting and stuff!

Sorry Soulman, but the winning quote has already been posted in Mikey's log. I don't follow the MLY thread really, so I don't really have a suggestion other than this. Seems pretty good tho and sums up the whole situation, as I understand it.

Like I said
08-01-2017 , 04:24 PM
hahahaha that's a great undertitle

Thanks for the information. Not sure GTO was a thing back in 2009 when I quit poker. Was a 6+ PTBB winner at 400 NL for a while.

But now Im just looking for a game to nerd a little bit here and there, and if it provides a little extra cash, then why not.

I found this for Nash: http://www.holdemresources.net/hune

Where should I look for GTO?

Seems like its settled. Guess she can have it removed May 1?

I'll let Montecoco solve this.

Had a terrible overnight with wife getting sick and repeatedly having her KidColin leg spasm attacks. Get her up for an early appointment and decided she just wasn't up for it and put her back to bed. I was feeling incredibly hungry, so decided to hit the Waffle House a mile away because I deserve a little treat...

Order a little pig-out breakfast of cheese eggs with double eggs, double sausage, double bacon, and a side of biscuit & gravy (there was also grits and raisin toast in there somewhere). I goes to shoveling it down and the waitress walks up to the table of regulars (who had *finished* eating, btw) beside me and the following conversation unfolds in very thick southern accents:

"Did you hear what happened to Happy Bob? He died just yesterday."
"Really? But he seemed so happy and healthy."
"He died in one of those stomach liposuction surgeries yesterday. They open you up and suck all the fat out of you--I don't know, maybe they pump something else into you to replace it because that was sure a lot of fat. Remember, he weighed about 500 pounds."
"Bob is a big ol' boy!"
"Was. He died."
"He died? When was this? How did you hear?"
"He was in here the day before yesterday with his wife. Said it was his "last meal" before the fat got sucked off yesterday. That's what killed him. He had a hamburger."
"Is she big, too?"
"Oh yeah. They were both happy though. All excited to be skinny. Yeah I guess something went wrong with just sucking all that fat out because they said it took a lot longer than usual--I'm not sure if that's like a big vacuum cleaner or a slow pump to pull all the fat out from everywhere or what but if those things get clogged up it can get real nasty and tough to get going again..."

I'm like, "HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY--I'M TRYING TO EAT HERE!!!" Possibly due to sleep deprivation, I then ruded things up by laughing uncontrollably at their round friend's untimely death. Well, in my heart of hearts I was really laughing at them. Still, whatever happened to my poker face, goddammit?

That's not my normal breakfast. Not even my normal Waffle House breakfast, which I've been to twice this year.
