My water leaked in by bag and got all over my chalk so i had no chalk. Plus i worked out at night so it was super crowded so the only bar that was available was thicker than normal bars and had really weak knurling.

So I was supposed to have a WL meet on sat but my wrist is messed up and i cant clean and now it hurts to snatch. I have lost like 50% range of motion. I dont have insurance so im going to give it like 2 weeks rest from oly lifting and press/bench so pretty much im just going to pull and squat.

How did you hurt your wrist? Racking cleans? Suck you have to miss the meet. Those clean pulls must be really easy for you.

Ya racking cleans I think. Then i got drunk and fell on my bike and messed it up worse.

I'll probably up the weight on the pulls next time. My max clean is like 190 though so I'm not sure

So i got my wrist xrayed. they didnt do an MRI but said i have a torn ligament and to try not to extend it. said should just take time to heal.

So my wrist is feeling a little better. I have been snatching light, just stayed at 40 for a few weeks now im going a little heavier to like 55. Cleaned for the first time in months on monday but only did 40 just to make sure it didnt hurt. Im not logging the oly workouts cause i just do a bunch of triples at 40 on snatch and clean.

Good to hear the wrist is getting better. I always used to jam my right wrist up (sometimes still do) but it's been ok recently. I stretch my wrists when they aren't sore and I roll a golf ball on the forearm muscles too. Try that out.
