Last time I saw a guy like that he had to cut to like 153 to have a perfect six pack. And on the way there bleed lbm left n right in the limbs because those areas are sub10%.
IDK man. Just like you had elite level lifts for a long time and decided to try your hand at other things (running), I had a perfect six pack for so long that now I figure it's time to try out something different
I was keeping my heart rate between 135 and 145
Sorry I'm not in as good of shape as the great loco. And I know I wasn't jogging, I was the one doing it
Oh yeah I didn't see the average heart rate, oops. Carry on.
You can flatline the average more. Just warmup and then speed up to 145 bpm and then just slow down as you keep it there. Some Dr uses that, I forget his name.
Then just wrap it up when you are going too slow. I would just wrap it up when less than 5 mph is keeping you at 145 plus. Even if you only get 2.5 miles, that's good.
This is a very healthy way to improve your cardio. Over time you start going faster and faster at 145 bpm, showing you gains.
Ya when I did it the first time I was at 5.9 for like 25 minutes and my heart rate was under 145. I must've been not recovered or something. I have a real tough time getting in that range at start so I'll try your suggestion
I bought a mi fit watch but the heart rate monitot sucks so I'm going to get a new watch soon. Anyone have any suggestions? I was looking at the Garmin vivo active 3
Just got an email from the BJJ tournament and no one was in my age or weight class (36+ age, 191 weight). So I can move down in age or up in weight. There was only 2 people in 36+age 204 weight and 18+age 191 weight so i moved into 18+age 204 weight so there are at least more than two people in the division. But now im going to be the smallest and oldest lol
