Cardio - 1) 5km under 25 mins...should be able to do that pretty soon.
Boom. 24:10. Crushed my previous by 1:37. New goal 23:00

Weather is warming up so hope to get out for runs more frequently.

Single digit days left in 75 Hard!

Booom!!

Walked about 50 minutes today with the 80lb weight vest
Benched 185x5x4, then 195x4
Deadlifting 225x5x5
Squat 195x5x5
Curl 40x8x5

Got a PR yesterday on 20 min Peloton.

Weight: 238 -> 220

Going to somewhat spoil myself tomorrow with some good food, a beer, and some whiskey. It is St. Paddy's after all. Still plan to workout at least once.

Feeling good!

Took yesterday fully off. Had 2 beers and a whiskey, bagel sandwich and some pad thai. Did no reading and drank maybe 2L (half the 75hard amount). It was gluttonous.

Hit the bike today and crushed my 30 min PR. 373 ----> 405!

Will get back to lifting tomorrow.

So I was really hoping after 75 days of working out 2x per day, those habits would be instilled.

Sad to report they weren't. I think I'm the type of person that needs a program or strict regiment.

75hard ended last Wednesday. 8 days ago.

Since then I've Peloton 3x, used the gym once, and went for a few walks (no weight vest though).

Still crushing on the Peloton. Increased my 30 min PR each time. 405 -> 411 -> 416

I've been good from an eating and drinking perspective. Eating well and not really drinking. Had a few here and there. Could also be drinking more water. Went from 4L per day down to maybe 1L. Not really reading either.

Gonna try to focus and get the motivation to get back at it.

Travelling all April. Been doing almost a hike a day, but no workouts. Now at my parents. They also have a Peloton. Just did a 30 minute class and got 616. Nearly a 50% increase over my previous PB doesn't make sense to me.

I guess different bikes measure output differently. That's annoying.

Not good

75 Hard was great for 75 days then fell off wagon.

Still Peloton prob 3x per week, but that's about it.

Sounds like you need structure to help you keep on track.....solid goals, a strict program etc.

I need goals and something to achieve for. I also need repercussions for failing to meet those goals. So I want to make them achievable, yet difficult.

Really haven't done much since mid-March last year. Time to get back on a routine. I haven't finalized my plan yet, but my rough thoughts after going through my logs and seeing what I've been able to achieve in the past are:

By year end,

Bench Press - 225 x 5 x 5
Squats - 225 x 5 x 5
Deadlift - 275 x 5 x 5

Peloton - hit 500 for a 30 min ride (current best is 416)
Running - 10km in 50 minutes

I feel to achieve this, especially the cardio part, I'm going to need to start ASAP and get a routine going in order to achieve it by year end.

I might set some interim goals as well. Of course I'll be doing more than just those 5 activities, but don't feel I need a curl + pullup + random exercise goal as well.

In terms of repercussion, it will be a donation of sizable amount of crypto.

Lazy end of day 30 min ride: 292

Also adding sub 210 lbs goal.
