Can't wait to try them on and check out my squat/DL. I've been wearing these really cheap pieces of crap lately because they have a thin sole but I think my stance is way to loose in them. Better of barefoot probably.

Been eating way too much bread and not enough meat lately I think for the past month 80% of my protein came from eggs and shakes. Need meat. (I just wrote this while eating 6 eggs with 200gr bread)

It's okay to post pics every a couple of weeks. It's a bodybuilding log after all. Building the body, gotta update. A strength log you update the weights. Here you update the physique. Race you to the first one who can post striated glutes.

I am Definitely cutting out the bread pudding. I think you might be leaner than me. So sick, can't compete with the deca and primo.

just found this thread, we are in (almost) identical positions, 6'3 (last time i was measured) weigh 81kg and i guess my bf% is somewhere between 11-13%. My goal is pretty much exactly the same also.

with that said, i've only been training/lifting about 3 months total, i still know very little compared to most who post in these logs on 2p2 and bb.com, i'd be interested in seeing what your daily/weekly training routine looks like? coming up with a set routine that i'm happy with is the thing i'm struggling with most atm

seems like your getting some decent progress looking at the most recent picture

well I kind of mix SS with moderate rep (8-12) isolation exercises, around 3-4 exercises with 3 sets each and I sweat like a pig every workout, I'm also pretty sure I make some weird ass noise+face combo's when I'm doing a hard set

For instance chest looks like this: bench press, incline dumbell press, pullovers and then I mix in a 4th higher rep exercise on the go to pump some blood around, just because I think it's fun and it makes me look like a monster

legs: squats, leg curls, calf raises, straight legged deadlifts, leg press
shoulders: military press, dumbell lateral raises, upright row, shrugs
back: deadlifts, pull ups, machine row, dumbell bent over row
biceps: standing dumbell curls, preacher curls
triceps: close grip press, triceps extensions, dips

These routines are like 2nd nature to me (which isn't necessarily good tbh) and I love the **** out of them every single time. Just writing this stuff down makes me wanna go there and go crazy

Again, that picture is very flattering. I don't think there's that much change since the OP. On days I don't work out I think I still look pretty ecto, but like most people I have severe body dysmorphic disorder. Did gain some weight though!

Edit: Actually I don't know why I keep saying I do SS. I just do benchpresses and deadlifts, 3 sets of 5 reps each. I wanna start clean & press too, I've never tried them.

Mehhh, just did some picture work to follow progress. When I saw the pics at first I thought they looked good, but compared to 2 months ago there doesn't seem to be almost any progress. The leg pic looks even worse? I've been training them twice a week, lol. And I'm eating way more than back then! I've gained 2-3KG since then btw.

Guess I'll have to start eating 4500kcal or something, lol, kinda not looking forward to that. I'm already having trouble eating 3500-4000.

These pics are taken on a rest day - big difference compared to the pumped pics.

Rear lat spread (left pose sucks, difference isn't that big in reality)


Rear double biceps


Front double biceps


Relaxed pose (there's the 2KG gain, right there around my belly)


Spaghetti legs



Any advice?

My vote is that the difference from lighting > difference from training at this point after the 2 months. 5lbs isn't going to be like "zomg" but 20lbs will so I guess just stick at it.

Yeah don't know why I freaked out. Agree with all of the above.

Something new, these babies finally arrived:


Ordered them from Germany, had them shipped to Belgium, and then had them brought to China. Obviously first thing I notice when I held them was a nice "Made in China" label. They travelled like close to 20k km, only to find out later they're a size is too small for me. That's a beat right there.

I can live with the size, but it's not too comfortable. They are extremely tight which I guess is positive for it's use, but my big toe gets a little cramped in there which sucks. I've been googling tricks to stretch them out. I'm doubting between trying the "bag of ice + freezer" thing or just taking them to a shoe repair shop to have them stretched. I'm afraid if I try the ice thing they will lose overall tightness as well, which I want to avoid.

Don't really know why but I also threw in the goold old Arnie book for the picture. Not the most scientific stuff but definitely one of my favorite books to just skim through and look at the pictures for hours. Slightly on the heavy side for toilet use though

Very nice shoes. This was Aidan's secret to getting to a 400lb+ squat. Looks like the cat is out of the bag. What size are those? You might have to ship them to me.

They're US11 UK10.5 EUR45+1/3

I always thought I had 46 but then I checked like 10 pairs and found out most of my shoes were US11 which is 45+1/3. Kind of sucks to find out I should've just gone with a 46. Gonna visit the shoe repair shop later today and have them stretched, hope that works

Literally can't wait to try out my squat and DL with them. Even psychologically it's gonna be a huge difference probably lol.

Btw, last leg workout my silly ass squat improved from 5x75(165) to 5x85(187) in 1 session. Maybe I just wasn't trying hard enough before. I just kept on adding 2.5kg weight every set and found out even 85kg was still pretty easy, and it was like my 6th set.

Last bench looked like this 10x75 8x80 8x85, I really think I could pretty easily do 8x90 but I'm scared to try it without a spotter, and Chinese people are the worst spotters so I don't even wanna try asking them.

It's kind of weird for me. I put on 40 pounds on my squat the past 1.5 months, but my legs actually got smaller cause I fit into jeans I used to rip out of. Stayed the same weight. Pretty good for me though cause I'm only average height and huge thighs make me look stumpy .

And jesus your back/shoulders/tris when flexed are muscular in a weird way. Trying to decide if I'm a fan or not.

I came here initially to do a 4 month real estate internship in February 2011. I'm from Belgium. I can speak very little Mandarin because I've studied it on and off and did some trips through China which helped a lot cause it forces you to use the dictionary and try to talk the language. I can do basic things like shopping and asking for products, bargaining, ordering food and stuff. However having an actual conversation is a lot harder and I think I can only go for a couple of minutes. Not even that long probably if the conversation has to make sense.

You could perfectly get by without knowing any letter of Mandarin (and A LOT of expats are doing it, even after 5-10 years). It's basically using sign language, a lot of pictures on your phone (from products and/or Chinese characters), Google Translate and a phone dictionary.

Absolutely! It's super cheap, I love the weather most time of the year, awesome food, great expat community and I have a severe case of the yellow fever ever since I moved here. Probably not. I don't really plan anything. I would love to stay for at least another couple of years. Expat friends obviously come and go, so by the time my closest friends here have left, I'd probably pack my bags as well. In the beginning I really felt like a freak yeah. The first week I literally felt like an alien. Everybody seemed to stare the **** out of me and because everything is so new you're just looking around the whole time as well. I noticed it really badly and it made me feel awkward, but after a while you get used to it and you just start wandering around thinking subconsciously and not paying attention to it at all. I get the occasional smile & waves or a "waw! you so big!". Especially at tourist traps you feel like a superstar, having to take pictures every 5 steps you take. Girls giggling and old guys showing the thumbs up, haha. How I love China.

Which picture? lol

I'm actually really happy with the way my body looks. Proportions and symmetry and stuff like that. Chest by far my favorite. I've heard a lot of good things about dem chesticles in my life.

If there's anything I'd say I think my taille is too small for my height, it makes me feel like a skinny ecto. But all in all I think I can't complain. Very long way to go though.

Thanks a lot for answering! It sounds like soooo much fun. I've dated a lot of asian girls because Toronto is very multicultural. I would be in heaven there. Asia sounds like the greatest place in the world for a white guy with money.

Daily breakfast big ass 8 egg omelette with veggies - about 900kcal 60/60/45




Yesterday's leg workout

Squat
12 x 40kg
12 x 40kg
5 x 80kg
5 x 82,5kg
5 x 85kg
5 x 87,5kg

Then I did leg curls but the machine has numbers on them in stead of the weight so I'm not sure how much it is. 3 sets for 10-8-6 reps

And then leg presses and calf raises both 3x12x120kg

Not really sure if my leg routine is that good actually, kind of lack inspiration maybe
