Haven't found that yet, but i have found several boxes of old remote controls, at least 200 used light bulbs, and his defensive driving certificate from 1982.

One of my great aunts died when I was a kid and we went to her place to clean her stuff out and divvy it up among my mom's mom and my mom's sisters and stuff. She went through the depression (like my grandparents) and had some funny ideas about money.

When they were putting books away a $20 bill fell out of a book. They started looking in other books and found thousands of dollars on her bookshelf. Random coffee cans stuff with 20s and other bills. I don't remember how much but really a ****load of money, all in cash, all hidden bits and pieces around the house.

Apparently she would just take extra money from the household money her husband gave her, and sock it away. They were reasonably well off but I guess you never forget what it's like to have nothing.

My grandmother, her sister, still does a lot of depression-era inspired stuff, like write letters to people on the backs of already used pieces of paper. Hang out to dry paper towels. Fix and keep everything forever - they have the same toaster they had when I was 5.

Used light bulbs though, that's a new one on me. I can understand keeping the certificate though, if you're not going to acknowledge your own achievements, ain't no one gonna do it for you.

cool, next in line after Mr Robot. Two episodes in, so hooked I stayed up till 2 AM to watch the second episode on a workday, ugh.

The intro to the pilot episode of MR Robot rivals the snotboogie Wire pilot intro for me.

Same thing happened to me with Mr. Robot. Only saw one episode, it seemed ok-good, not excellent. Working in a field where I come across hackable PLCs and networks made me cringe at some of the lingo they used. Then finally saw ep2 and 3 and was insta-hooked.

My next show lined up is Narcos as well.

There is a segment in House of Cards with some IT / hacking / IRC which is far more convincing than Robot.

What part of the D? Some parts are better than others. I am a couple miles north of the city on the east side and our area is quite safe but 3.5 miles south is one of the worst, most violent neighborhoods in the whole USA#1.
