I just got a juicer too and am trying a 3-day juice detox. The recipes are in the book that came with the juicer. The one I had for breakfast involved apples, beetroot, carrot, yellow pepper, celery, lemon, broccoli and cucumber.
It seems I'll be spending most of my time washing up the many parts of the juicer.
Have any of you seen Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead?:

I got the juicer after seeing the trucker lose so much weight in that film. But then I was talking to a friend who's a doctor, and he told me he thought trying to live for an extended period of time on juice to kickstart drastic ************ was a really bad idea. But he's a psychiatrist, not a nutritionist.
I'm not sure what the truth is, but of course I know what's needed is long-term lifestyle change, exercise, etc, not just juice. And I don't know how long I could go without eating solid food without going completely crazy. Maybe juicing would work best to replace just one meal, then - in my case dinner, when I normally binge on junk.
