Don’t worry everyone, I’m still here. Have been traveling for 2 weeks, hence the quiet in here. Barely lifted, nutrition not on point, sleep not on point, and also have been feeling under the weather for a couple days. All this makes me pretty weak at the moment. Tried to start off light to build back up but this was actually pretty hard. So gonna try to build back up over the coming weeks.
Work capacity also non existent now, these four exercises kinda recked me..

Enough complaining, back on the wagon we go. On a positive note, extensive rest did my hip a lot of good, it felt great today.

Went with a ~10% deload on everything to get back into it. A little more on squats since I’m still babying my hip a little and getting used to a new stance. Gonna go with aggressive increases of 5kg s/d and 2.5kg on bench per session until I hit @9, and then follow regular pnp progression again. Hopefully can get my strength back soon.

Also turns out I lost 2kg on my trip, but since I was also off the creatine that’s probably a decent amount of water. Will see if it comes back now I’m taking it again.

I hear you on both accounts. Logging can be tedious, especially when writing out as many as exercises as you do. Lifting in your garage can get boring. Have you thought about training for a meet as a way to feel like you have a goal to work to?

I have thought about it. Afaik there really is only 1 meet a year around here, and it was in March, so I just missed it. Powerlifting is not really big in these parts. Maybe I could sync a meet up with a visit back home.

Hi,
I’m still training, just zero motivation to log atm. My squat especially has tanked since I changed my technique to alleviate a hip issue. So I’m back to being weaksauce. Perhaps motivation will come back once the gains do. At least my bench is going reasonably well as last week I benched BW (95kg) for 10 reps.

It started hurting from what I think was a too knee-forward squat for my build. Since I started squatting more knees out the pain has gone away, but sadly so has my strength.
