I tried, but his beard gets in the way

Can you ask brett if he squats between his legs or on top of his legs?

He also talks about how one should really push their knees out when squatting. Oh really. Seems like he does pretty good with a narrow stance that doesn't give a fack about knees out KCstyle.

seen that before. I love how that power lifter, the fat guy, strips even 1/4 pound of weight via his clothes for his weigh in.

I'm most surprised by the bodybuilder being so much lower than the others.

^ There's another video from their channel that I think is more relevant, although it's still not really interesting or anything. Just fun to watch if you have nothing better to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qySRWjqctok

I know what a powerlifter is, and I know what a bodybuilder is, but what makes the weightlifter different?
The Powerlifting thread Quote

olympic weightlifting snobs refer to it as just weightlifting
The Powerlifting thread Quote

and they like to pretend like the squat is a competitive lift
The Powerlifting thread Quote

^^ you mean the powerlifters, not the oly's, right?
And bench as competetive exercise is even worse than squats, imo...

Yea man sucks that powerlifting actually has some kind of test of upper body strength. That's real dumb...

Why are you here? Is this your terrible way of starting some kind of discussion, or are you just trolling? Either way, I have no interest in trying to sway your narrow, extreme, and pessimistic view of one aspect of the sport.

Well, then maybe you should just have let it go, instead of answering again

The clueless like to call everything that doesn't fit their view "trolling"... I'm used to that by now. And the day that I let someone with your spelling ("that's real dumb...") - or even worse, in case of you thinking that's funny - sway my logic and flawless view about anything will never come.

Here is the reason why I posted ITT:

^^ That makes no sense, since Squat is 1 of 3 PL exercises, but none of the two oly-exercises. And while a squatting movement is part of both oly-lifts, there is a whole lot more involved in both, including serious upper-body strength-needs, and... wait for it... technique!

Well, and after reading all this nonsense I saw after my post, I couldn't help myself but pointing out what a ridiculous exercise competetive benching is. Then you got all butthurt, and called my view extreme etc ladida.
Maybe you should take a step back and admit that I am right with everything I said.

Finally, I don't give a ****. Good luck ruining your shoulders, like a gazillion of bench-warriors before you. I will **** off now.

Mmmmh,.. I mean, I am ofc right about bench being an exercise that heavily depends on how long ones arms and how big the possible arch in back are, as well as how big of a cushion is on the rip-cage, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm an idiot for posting about it ITT... I am a little bit sorry, and I guess that even telling the truth can be considered as trolling, depending on the where and why of a post.

That squatting is not a contested lift in weightlifting was the joke. Weightlifters like to get all dogmatic and braggadocious about their squat even though it is not a judged lift for them. their total probably sucks, too. Anyway it's just jokes.

But you seem like a ton of fun though.

Trolling powerlifters... D- too easy.

A srs q. Hey PL dudes, what do you think about my PT's suggestion that PL half squats (ok to parallel) may be easier than HBBS on my ridiculously long torso and L4/L5 problem? She also suggested not working above 75% fwiw.

Thanks, I obv didn't get it.

But you seem like a ton of fun though.

That's another joke! This time I got it right, right?
I would like to add that I am a very deliberated person, in hindsights. And before, I meet both definitions of "funny" that I know, as people use to tell me.

I dont think a PL squat would be better for your issues. woulndt leaning over more make it worse for your L4L5 problem? I think G4S had the same issues as you and a PL type squat was the worst thing he said he could do. This is why he only front squatted and zercher squatted for like 5 years

I am not trolling...

What do you think is the best bodyfat-% for PL/OLY?
I'd like to know your opinions there, regarding performance only first of all, as well as for longevity of joints/ankles mainly, but also general health in the higher ages afterwards.

I heard, when lifting, some fat is good for the ankles and joints for some reason, but having massive overweight on the other hand also leads to a bigger weight that needs to be lifted every time, not to mention cholesterol or whatever other problems...
