ate alot yesterday, i think i was just abnormally hungry from monday.

oatmeal - 379 cal
2x taco salads - 750 cal each
1lb chicken breast + evoo- 560 cal
1/2 cup uncooked millet - 375 cal

tuesday total - 2814

wednesday:
7:00 protein shake - 120 cal

7:30 workout
no treadmill warmup, was running a bit late
3x5x100 overhead press
2x5x170 1x7x170 box squat
3x5x120 pendlay rows

have a feeling this might not be the best week, but lifting has been going well so tbh as long as i dont gain weight ill be happy.

lookin like either some pork loin or turkey burgers for dinner tonight

thanks friend.

was being lazy and not logging, got sick for a week or so and just haven't been able to get back to the gym. even though stuff hasn't been going poorly for me, im gonna start logging and being a nit about it just to try to get where i want to be asap.

recently i got a keurig, and i have been drinking on average maybe 1 cup of coffee and 3 cups of tea per day. from what i understand everything should be fine but ill run it by here just to make sure

I'm not a H&F regular or anything like that, but I think the coffee is a great move. When I talked to my cousin (degree in nutrition or sports nutrition or something like that from UMich) about my diet to setup for weight loss, that was one of the things she brought up. If I could cut my Coke intake from 48-60 oz daily, that alone would bring down my weight slowly, even if I did nothing else in the process. So I switched to coffee in the morning, and am down to about 8oz of Coke daily.

Maybe one of the regs can chime in with their thoughts on coffee.

And great job on getting back on here and logging.

6pm turkey wraps - same as last nights dinner minus 1 tortilla - 980 cal

10pm slow cooked pork tenderloin w veggies - 1159
3lbs - 2118 cal (the package said 25 cal/oz but that seemed wrong, google says 44 cal/oz. gonna round up but this could be a high estimates
1 cup red wine + 1 packet onion soup mix for sauce = 200 cal

+1 cup of coffee and 3 cups of tea

total: 2389 cal

kind of alot, pork miscalculation is to blame imo

i think 299.9 by april 1 might actually become a difficult challenge

based off of this site http://www.active.com/fitness/calculators/calories i need about 4k calories per day at 320 lbs 5'9 at low active level. i have 8 weeks to lose 22.3 lbs -> 78000 calories which would translate to needing a 1400 deficit per day. theoretically i should be able to do it at 2200-2400 cal/day if im doing my math right?

Just curious, how is the Spaghetti Squash? The Mrs. wants me to grow some in the garden this year for a pasta alternative.

I don't see where your math is wrong. And that's figuring a low activity level. If you can get your walks up to 4mph for an hour, you should make it with that cal/day input just fine.

The only thing there is that some "experts" say that you shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs per week. I'm not sure why, just something I read somewhere, not even sure if it's correct.

its the nuts imo, prob the thing that im happiest about adding to my diet over the past few months. super easy and simple to cook and lets you do a bunch of fun pasta stuff that you normaly couldnt do. I dont know anything about growing it, but the last 2 weeks the kroger near me have been out of it for so long. yesterday i was so tilted i went to their produce department and yelled at them to order more.
