**** squatting with any volume and dling the same day. I know I could have done better with dls had I just stopped squats at the 330 fail. I'm just way too much of a puss to squat and then dl the same day unless the squats are light or low volume. Just couldn't come close to giving 100% on deads.

Getting better and more confident in oly lifts though. Got some good practice in full snatching this week though, starting to feel better. I'm not sleeping too well and I have to do heavy manual labor before I workout pretty much always which is making me unhappy.

Wondering why you do both high and low bar squats? I thought about doing both too but decided to just stick with highbar. Vids of oly lifts, imo

A combination of indecisiveness and stupidity. LB squats are easier so I'm just going to guess that means I should be doing hb squats every time.

I'm updating weekly instead of by the session in case you haven't noticed. Pretty bad week overall. I was pretty happy with the clean and jerks at the start of the week and the bench press at the end. Everything else sucked. My deadlift seems to be failing pretty hard. I'm going to low bar squat for a few weeks to give my knees a little break (lol pussy).

Some halfassed snatch pulls and a bunch of full snatch singles at 45. I really need to snatch more next week, I think I'm finally getting the c+j form down well enough to progress every week by just doing the lift+ss lifts but snatch is still rather shaky. I should have never wasted time power snatching and just done only full snatches from the start.

Deadlift

This week was much better. C/J seems to be coming together. I'll be back to pre-injury pre-olympic lifting diversion PRs soon.

Deadlift strength is coming back slower than I'd hoped. Had a lot of hours at work this week because we lost a lot of employees and will have even more next week but will hopefully manage my training schedule better. Every day I was training late at night at around midnight-2 which I'm not used to yet. I should probably be deloading soon. I haven't actually trained that hard but I have a fairly physical job and don't get to sleep/eat as well as I used to. I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and will likely do it then.

Training has been awful lately. I've trained only twice since the last post. Just a few hours ago I failed 115kg lowbar squat on the 4th rep. I had 46 hours of work last week and this week I'm going on vacation and don't know how much WIM I'll have to lift. This summer has been very disappointing overall, I don't even want to reflect on how much better it could have been. Things will pick up when I leave my job and return to school. I only need 12 credits per semester this year so I'll be able to put more time into training/eating/recovering.
I don't have anywhere to continue learning the oly lifts there, so I'll return to the ppan program except with 2x powerclean per week until that stops working and then do the pullups/chinups as written. There's also a decent possibility the **** who work at my college gym will ban deadlifting, hopefully that doesn't happen.

Lifted once on vacation. There was a sweet gym with crossfit style big black bumpers. c+Jed 81 for 5 singles and cleaned 92 pretty easily afterward. Definitely could go higher right now and much higher in the future when I regain some of my weight and bring my squat back up. Did a bunch of snatches at 53. I also did the opposite of what most people do on family vacations and dropped a ton of weight. Never got a chance to squat heavy. My family members all think it's perfectly normal to fast 16+ hours between a medium sized dinner and a small breakfast, no wonder I grew up so skinny. BW was down to 88kg today.

Slept 11 hours last night, had an excellent pre-workout breakfast, brought sufficient peri-workout nutrition to the gym with me, and had enough time to warmup thoroughly today. Predictably, this resulted in the worst workout I've had in my life. I clean and jerked up to 80 and then failed the clean 3 times. I had a lot of caffeine beforehand and I'm not used to it at all, so I felt jittery/nauseas/light headed halfway through the workout which likely contributed. I kept losing vision after my jerks. I quit pretty quickly and just stretched/foam rolled for about an hour. I'm going to take a nap and try again tomorrow morning and consider this a missed workout.

Funny, when I c+jed 80 for 5 singles then cleaned up to 92 I was jetlagged, hungry, hadn't slept well, and had barely any time to warmup. The clean was piss easy too. I would like to clean at least 95 next workout and I think 100 should be in my sights in the next few weeks.
