My comment was in reference to the fact that a number of 2p2ers that have met loco in real life have commented on what a positive, almost magnetic persona that he possesses, and I'm kind of sad that he's going to go to a place that has combined an almost impossibly provincial inferiority complex with an amount of racism that would seem quaint if it wasn't so horrifying and a Jason Genova like amount of unearned bravado because of their completely unearned and undeserved success in sports over the last 15 years.

Thanks guys. Read all the comments. Busy at the moment. Fiancée moves to Boston in January. I am trying to hold off til next summer, but we will see.

I need some inspiration. Headed to New Orleans this week, I'm hoping to get some good shots but more likely I just drink a lot and leave my camera in my bag, maybe even loco it in the rental car.

I'll probably just take my 40mm pancake, great for travel but no breathtaking IQ or whatever. That's what I used for the above pic, then just edited it on my phone on the train. K.

Are you hauling around a tripod? That sounds like the worst. Hopefully you just rested your camera on a hobbit or whatever for that waterfall shot.

I've been taking more snaps, lately. Some decent ones at my kid's party this summer (on fb). A few ok ones from Spain on there too, though again just took the 40mm. I love the 40mm STMs in theory because they're so cute/tiny, but I have no use for one, since I already have 28mm, 35mm and 50mm, not sure what I'd do with a 40mm even if I could literally put it in my pocket. The new 50mm STMs are cute too, but I already have 2 50mm lenses.

Here is some advice:

- More pics of that woman who seems to follow you around in your FB pics.
- More LC posts.

I'm too much of a gear whore and I need to... focus... on just taking more and better photos.

That said, a 35mm lens is probably somewhere in my near future. Might ditch my 24-70 zoom, it's fine but I feel like too much of "hey look a photography man!" when it's on my camera.

The 24-70L? I have one of those and yeah it is huge and heavy and screams at people. That said if I am going on vacation and just taking one lens (ok LOL no but you know what I mean) I'm probably just taking that.

I've been doing some street photography the last few years and I use primes exclusively for that. After a short while you can see in your head exactly what you'll get before you even bring the camera up. I mostly like a 50mm on an APS-c body or an 85mm on a full frame but this is because I am a pussy who doesn't like to get up in people's face.

We need more pics itt, so in case anyone was wondering, I enjoy this porn star a lot.
