Also, I'm on AT&T, which will probably be important information.

So can anyone help with recommendations for either slightly older phone models, maybe good sites/places to buy from, good things to look at, etc. I just have no idea how to even begin trying to find a good phone, and for cheap. Also, preferably android OS, but I'm not completely closed to iphones depending on price.
The out of contract is what's going to cost the money.

Another option would be to buy a used AT&T phone from cowboom. Maybe something like an SII or HTC Vivid.

Kara has bought electronics from there before and they have a great return policy.

FYI: Boost Mobile has 3g Android phones for under $100 (no contract) and voice/text/data is $50/month.

Yeah, tough to pick one. I just bought the same one a friend of mine had - HTC Inspire. The screen is above average for that class, so it's OK for form checking between sets, and I could pop my SIM into his to check that it would work instantly once it came in the mail (I have ATT, also).

I think the biggest choice between phones is the screen size. Smaller ones fit easier in your pocket, and will hold a charge longer with use. Bigger ones are well, bigger.

I would note that from an economic standpoint, getting into the right plan is far more important than saving a few $ on the phone itself. I'm kicking myself a bit now, since I stuck with the ATT 10c/m plan + $5/mo. for a pile of text messages. I can only use data when I have a WiFi connection. I spend $10-$15/month for the service, depending on my use, but I could have switched to pageplus and bought the same phone (but with Verizons bandwidth), and had 100M of 3G data for like $13.50/mo including taxes. But, the ATT phone can't work on PagePlus' (Verizon) network.

TR NOW DAMMIT

The natural conclusion to my epic winter of illness misery fest: I've got bronchitis. Especially nice combo with my asthma, felt like I couldn't breathe last night. Then again I could run just fine at the gym today, so whatever I guess.

Lol KC. I drank 5 different types of beer yesterday and then had 4 sake bombs with dinner. 4th day in a row of HAM Vegas drinking, slept like 6 hours last night and woke up feeling great today. As usual. Hangovers are weird tho, especially person to person.

I'm too short on time right now for TR, hopefully later tonight I can
12-24-2012 , 08:48 PM
I find that if I hammer down a 32oz of Gatorade after drinking, I'm always totally fine the next day. Water is solid as well. I have noticed hangovers getting worse as I get older, and also not smoking weed doesn't help them either.

I wonder what stuff like diet, age, what youre drinking/mixing, what you eat/don't eat that day, sleep, fitness level, etc have to do with all of it.

But from anecdotal evidence it seems like being young, not consuming a lot of sugar while drinking, not mixing alcohol, staying hydrated, and being healthy (in roughly that order) go quite a ways toward avoiding hangovers

I agree, though I feel like hydration is the biggest factor, or among the biggest factors. Like if I wake up super hungover, and have a bunch of water or Gatorade, I immediately feel much better. I remember hearing once that hangovers/hangover symptoms were all dehydration related.

In any event, you have my full permission to begin research and report back to me the results post haste.

The other day I forgot to eat/drink anything, went to the bar, had two beers, and during whoopie(HIIT) I had to stop and couldn't even make it three steps and ended up barfing in my laundry basket.

Epic cut day

Did you have to explain to the dude you just banged that it wasn't him that made you vomit? And did he believe you, or was he still butt hurt about it but like trying to pretend that he wasn't?

On my S3 I can move/change them all except for the apps icon. I can't select that one. It's stuck.

I'll be in Hong Kong on thursday and seriously considering buying an iPhone5. I shouldn't.
