Yeah finding a manual therapist who has experience with helping something like that with ART is a great idea. As for things you can do on your own with LAX ball. These two Kstar vids cover *a lot* of area in terms of "neck/upper middle back":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=i463R5HGdVg is the best thing I've found to hit the "neck" (so far at least)

And the always classic "sticky scap" video (what I assume you're already doing): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzozw2Aso3M

Make sure to dig the ball at the edge and "underneath" your shoulder blades by moving your arm across your body - it could be there is mangled soft tissue in there too.

What kind of rotation for your head is hard?

Someone mentioned a 5/3/1 app for Android in some thread. I found an iPhone version as well called Big Lifts. Looks neat and super handy.

Not my numbers fwiw, just some screenshots of what was already there

And it's free

^^^^^^ yep, that's the same one.

It is pretty great.

Idd. Just messed around in it you can literally change everything. The heavier sheme is also in there, as well as a powerlifting sheme, some others or custom. U can add exercises, change weight unit, change increments, rounding, ........

And it will support SS soon as well

App for 5/3/1... ok.

But if you need an app for SS then....... kill yourself?

There is an app for that too.

According to its inventor Andrew Parsons, the app is capable of detecting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, monitors its user's financial status in real time, analyzes the content of their outgoing text messages, and evaluates their appearance with a mirror application to determine the tenability of their continued existence.

"Simply being overweight, unattractive, or poor is unlikely to issue a suicide prompt, regardless of how fat, ugly or broke you are," Parsons explained, "Any combination of those three, depending on the degree, might however trigger the app."

...

The new suicide app also features satellite navigation designed to assist its user by providing directions to nearby bridges, tall buildings and railroad tracks.

beata, I've had that same injury a handful of times. Following those kstar vids and laying on that lax ball it normally is better within 2-3 days.

5/3/1 app? I'm in. Time for a new program.

What's the 5/3/1 website that lays out the program for you, gives you a graphical representation of how "advanced" your lifts are, etc? I know I've seen it on here before, I just want to save it in case I ever 5/3/1 in the future.

good post^

I would specifically look for a good chiropractor in Beata's case because there's a good chance her issue could be caused by/made worse by spinal alignment. I think that a chiropractor who is also good at ART is more likely to be a good chiropractor. Look for one certified at the Biomechanics level. http://www.activerelease.com/providersearch.asp
