Haven't taken pics yet but I'll post some when I do. But yeah, went in this morning, test drove the actual car I was looking to buy to make sure I didn't mind the "cloth" seats.
Tried to get another 1k off (why not ldo) then snap accepted anyway (guy seemed genuinely surprised - I think he really thought I was going to walk away and buy the Subaru instead).
Got financing (2.85% but maybe I'll just pay it off anyway?) put down $3k with a CC and then he took me through almost all of the buttons and features on the car which was a really nice thing I honestly wasn't expecting. He even just sat there while we hooked up my phone and I called my parents and fiancee. I really liked the salesman, he was the best out of the 7 I think I talked to. There were others I liked but he just seems really down-to-earth.
So, drove out with a base Volvo S60 black/black with AWD and climate package for $32,999 + ~$2600 in taxes/licensing/fees (off the top of my head).

recommend?
If you don't want high shine, do not get pomade from American Crew. It's a good product, but it's high gloss. You probably want either Fiber (high hold/low shine) or Defining Paste (medium hold/low shine). I am using Defining Paste atm but have also used plenty in the past Fiber. I have really flat hair but Defining Paste seems fine imo and sometimes with Fiber it kind of ends up a bit too rigid.

My mom drove a 1984 wagon in light yellow which I borrowed quite a bit as a teenager. I hated it but mainly b/c I was at a high school where half my class drove luxury cars (new or ~5 years old, none were really old) and it just stood out like a sore thumb.
