Really wish I had done more bro-ab work throughout the past couple years. Basically just assumed getting to ~10ish % bf would work out, but I don't have a lot of definition in my abs.

not spamming i swear, but a few years ago I found allstarhealth.com, and now I always double check prices anywhere else vs theirs. Its pretty damn rare anyone is cheaper them on anything.

$5.95 flat shipping, same as BB.com IIRC.

Does anyone have the Westside Barbell Book of Methods in PDF form? I've got the book but its in pretty average condition & I wanted to lend it to a friend.

Somehow, the "weighted" part didn't register. Doing weighted L-chins sounds fun for your balls.

I did...my current workout shorts are Snitch-like short, and all my jorts are buried and gone. Too short for deadlifting really.

Weighted pullups do very little for my abs, DB rows on the other hand works the abs as crazy

FYI doing RFL as a cat 1 is lol easy with EC. 320 g brotein a day + veggies is more than enough to stay full. Getting 320 g a day is actually pretty challenging. Bring on the emaciated Euro meme pics.
04-26-2012 , 07:05 AM
Getting 320g brotein/day is really challenging if you aren't getting a good chunk of that from shakes. Even with shakes its still pretty hard.

Tonight I cooked myself an 8 oz filet mignon (super lean) with 12 oz of steamed broccoli/cauliflower and it ended up being maybe 600 calories. And I was super stuffed.

What would You list (in order) of the top 10 veggies are for an rfl? Just in your opinion. Rate on flavor, calories, fillingness, etc

FWIW this article supports what KPowers is saying about chinups and abs: http://www.t-nation.com/testosterone-magazine-627

Chinups never did much for my abs either, but my gf went from never doing ab work to having a 6 pack in 2 months when she started doing them, so YMMV.

I'd agree with this too... and I've done what I would call more than "none" but am definitely not diligent about actually programming it in to my workouts. And more often then not, I finish up and am like, "ehhh abs? Nah, time to leave."
04-26-2012 , 08:19 AM
Kroc Rows are amazing for abs. I did two sets tonight and I still kinda wanna puke.

Broccoli, broccoli and broccoli are the top 3 ainec.
04-26-2012 , 09:23 AM
lol counting veggie calories.

broccoli, spinach, and green beans are my top veggies in general. I like others a lot, too, but those reign supreme in terms of taste and ease of preparing.
04-26-2012 , 09:40 AM
Yeah I usually don't bother counting Veggie calories but I noticed that the 12 oz bag of broccoli and cauliflower that my gf picked up for me had nutrition info so I decided to note it since it had actually reached the 100 calorie threshold.

I like broccoli, I really like cauliflower and asparagus, all sorts of peppers, carrots are ok, celery is gud, I usually just order whatever assorted veggies are offered at restaurants 86 butter
