Monte,

Given your well documented history and attitude towards lifting, you actually putting 365 on your back and doing a complete squat ever would be amazing.

And I am not counting doing a bunch of reps with 200 pounds and extrapolating out a 1RM. I am talking about actually putting 365 pounds on your back and going down and back up again.

It's just been upgraded to "Mortal Lock" status now!

QB,

Your keen intellect and deductive abilities have left me flummoxed yet again. How you sussed out the fact that it is incredibly unlikely that I will ever squat three and a half plates is mystifying to me, but after some deep reflection, I am forced to admit that you're probably correct, which is making me reconsider some of our earlier tete-a-tetes. For example, if it wasn't already too late, I'd stop vaccinating my kids too. I hope they're still allowed into your commune when they get older. Maybe I can try and get them infected with ebola as a stopgap? Please advise.

Aidan,

A+

can someone explain the orange arrow meme to me? is this some elfish perversion?
11-03-2014 , 10:56 PM
Your kids are 2, right? It is not too late to stop. That being said, if there is any damage caused to the immune system by vaccination, it would probably happen early, so the damage (if any) has probably already been mostly done.

****. Would soy formula help? Hemp diapers? Organic purell? Maybe I should just euthanize them and start over; there's a 70% chance my wife's condition recurs if she gets pregnant again, but at this point I don't see that we have much choice. I can already tell they're cursed with my leverages, so one could quite convincingly argue it would be an act of mercy.

In other news, we were looking for a "new" series to start until True Detective and GoT are back, and we "started" Homeland, and we have been pleaseatly surprised so far.

We tried Penny Dreadful (aborted because wife found it too scary) and The Affair (aborted because I am not into watching females I find unnatractive showing the goods and having sex)

Claire Danes is too skinny, but she has a pretty face, and the wife is super hot, so this doesn't seem to be a problem in Homeland so far.

Soy is very bad for you for several reasons (ie mimics hormones and plant proteins aren't entirely biocompatible in animals). avoid at all costs.

As far as soap goes, you should generally just avoid it altogether. Your skin makes natural antibiotics. That with water is good enough, and harsh detergents (even organic) is no good.

I admit I donno about the diapers. Wife tried to bring up cloth and I had to draw the line.

I thought I accidentally clicked Reddit and saw an abortion. No, just a Fakebusto OP.

Nice to see I'm not the only person with that subreddit bookmarked.

Take a look at the top level of the internet sometime. Orange arrow means an upvote (similar to a like on Facebook). A blue arrow means a downvote (similar to a permaban on 2+2).

Here's a classic upvote meme.

Got some of the ash and oak firewood that I cut and split last year stacked neatly on my new firewood rack on my front porch.

That looks real nice MW. I help my dad chop and stack firewood sometimes for his woodburning stove and your setup looks about 1,000 times better than his.

October Goals: none
[x]

I sustained a shoulder injury which hasn't fully healed and it prevents me from doing anything overhead. I think rehab is working, though. We'll see soon enough when I test it out but ...

November Goals:

[ ] fix shoulder
[ ] squat 405 like Monte
[ ] don't let work kill me like October
11-04-2014 , 11:13 AM
BTM,

I think we can all safely say that if you do end up squatting 405, it will in no way be "like Monte", unless your spine crumbles to dust immediately after walkout and the wifeacore emilybluntinedgeoftomorrowtrainingscene.gif's you too.

November goals:

[ ]16 DFII workouts
[ ] 4-6 conditioning workouts, depending on travel schedule

Also want to continue to track food every day and keep up the slow cut, with a few days off around Thanksgiving. Maybe sub-190 by the end of the month?
